The killing of the Al-Qaeda leader, which is a Radical Islamic Terrorist Group, founded in the 1980 's by Osama Bin Laden, was a huge justice in the U.S. and other countries. Bin Laden posed a global threat to the countries where Islam is not implemented, he was responsible for the September, 11th attacks back in 2001. He orchestrated it, and had it planned for months, he was planning more attacks on the U.S. after 9/11 as well. ("The World Trade Center History.") The terrorist group Al-Qaeda knew they couldn’t beat the U.S. in a straight up firefight, so they tried to destroy us through economic failure and imposing fear into American lives.
During the attacks, they seized control the same airlines. Lots of theorize traders were given valuable news about the attacks and gained from the struggle. The Securities and Exchange Commission started with an insider trading inspection in which Osama bin Laden was a suspect, after gathering news from at least one Wall Street firm. Air Defense Was Told To ‘Stand Down’ The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) is ready to send out fighter jets, which can shoot down the plane if the plane is hijacked. On 9/11 NORAD board said they learned of the hijacking in time to order the jets.
Initally, al-Qaeda considered targeting nuclear power plants on 9/11, but decided to go against it because they feared it would get too out of control. Four passenger airlines, all of which departed from airports in the northeastern United States bound for California, were hijacked by 19 al-Qaeda members. One plane hit the Pentagon just outside of Washington D.C., the second plane crashed in a field in Pennslyvania, and the last two planes crashed into the Twin Towers. Within one hour and 42 minutes both 110 story towers were completely on the ground, with debris filling the air and fires starting to spread. Numerous other buildings at the World Trade Center site in lower Manhattan were destroyed or badly damaged.

The effects of 911 attack on twin towers was huge to Americans and the world. The short term effects would be sadness and shocks felt by the Americans and the destruction of the tower. It led to the invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan. Both of these effects led to the rising hated between Middle east and USA. The current event I chose is "U.S. Airstrikes Destroy 116 Fuel Trucks Used By ISIS in Eastern Syria" by Robert Burns. The U.S. sent four A-10 Thunderbolt II attack planes and two AC-130 Ghost/terrible thing gunships that pounded the trucks as they put together/group together near Abu Kamal, a town close to the Iraqi border. These 116 fuel trucks were used as an important part for the related to secretly and illegally taking out/bringing in something operation that brings the group about $1.4 million a day. We set them up announcing that wewould not attack fuel trucks because we could 've killed people not in the military that were innocent. ISIS was not expecting this, so it was basically a surprise attack.

On September 11, 2001, events unfolded in the USA that would change the way terrorism was viewed and the threat it presented. Nineteen members of the Islamist extremist group known as al-Qaeda boarded four commercial planes on the west coast of the USA and once in flight, proceeded to hijack the planes (National Commission on Terrorist Attacks upon the United States, 2004). Two of the hijacked planes were routed toward New York City, where they were deliberately crashed into the upper floors of the north and south towers of the World Trade Centre; the third plane was routed to Washington D.C and deliberately crashed into the Pentagon; and the fourth, which is thought to have been going toward The Capitol or the White House, was crashed into an empty field in Pennsylvania after passengers became aware of the attacks on the World Trade

Support #3, 3: Paradoxically, not only did Syria go against its own ban on chemical weapons, but it also violated its obligations under the Chemical Weapons Convention which outlawed the production, stockpiling, and use of chemical weapons (Starr and Diamond). Analysis #3: The Trump Administration is worthy to be praised for their actions because they took a brave action by resisting against the Syrian government.

Two years later, in March 2003, the United States invaded Iraq and deposed President Saddam Hussein. It was a wake-up call, not only for us as Americans but for those in many parts of the world (What happened).
