1.The Most Dangerous Game” is a peculiar title because the meaning of the title contains multiple meanings. The act of the a human hunting another human is not just dangerous it's an unnatural game. The second understanding comes from how the whole island turned into a dangerous game and becomes deadly. 2.There is a difference in hunting wild animals and humans. Hunting down your same kind is considered unnatural and most animals do not perform this horrendous act.

This bleak, moonless night expresses an ominous and suspenseful effect, embodying a sense of danger in the air. “The mental chills, poisonous air, and blood-warm water” adds a perilous and enigmatic impression to their surroundings, as they speak of the mysterious island. Slowly, a feeling of uncertainty and anticipation arises, seeing that there are multiple indications of foreshadowing. Finally, all the characters are introduced and the antagonist is revealed on “Ship-Trap Island”.
It's amazing how two people that have much in common can have totally different personalities. In Richard Connell's "The Most Dangerous Game", Rainsford, a skillful hunter, is to go through many struggles against General Zaroff, his opponent with which he shares many similarities, in order for him to win a hunting contest while proving himself to be the owner of an amazing, unbreakable personality. Through his actions during a game of hunt against a much overconfident hunter, Rainsford proves to have the traits of an honorable man. At the beginning of the story, Rainsford bravely arrives, after falling from a yacht, to the shore of an isolated island. The latter is called ‘Ship Trap’ since it is known to have a bad reputation.
