My strongest point, as determined from the profile, is in Category 6, the “Think Win-Win” habit. During my time in my current job, I believe I have developed a stronger “win together” attitude as part of my management personality. I also have found it to be very personally and professionally important to help others within my group to develop their skills and help them seek their true potential. I have worked with various people who do not have confidence in themselves and their work and have the mindset that making mistakes is bad and will end negatively for them, like getting fired for something that is generally unimportant. Now that people in my group see me as a leader and a management figure, it has helped me to naturally want to grow my leadership abilities. I want to be able to trust my team and also want them to trust me as a leader and mentor. When discussing issues and brainstorming ideas for new processes, I always make sure to have everyone voice their opinion. Just because I have a good idea as a leader does not mean someone else on my team does not have a better, more effective idea. I truly believe in working together as a team and not being a harsh manager who does not care about others’ opinions. I want my team to enjoy their job and be proud of what they are doing.
