Introduction Concrete mixed design is define as a process of selecting the suitable ingredients determining their relative proportions with the objective of producing concrete of having certain workability, strength and durability as economically as possible (Suryakanta, 2014). Which it is means that the content in concrete should be calculated and limited carefully so that the cost will not exceed the budget. But at the same time, the quality of the concrete should not been affected so that it can achieve the supervision exercised at the site. In this case, the concrete mixed design is very important in affecting the quality control (QC) of the concrete.
The quality control (QC) of a concrete is refer to the initial instance of the supervision

To form the concrete which can achieved the grade given, 30 N/mm2, some calculation is needed to get the exacted volume of the aggregates, cement, and also the water. The reading of the standard deviation is taken from a table depend on the number of the reading needed and also the characteristic strength.
Figure 3 the table which show the relationship between the characteristic strength and the standard deviation.
Since the reading that we needed in our experiment is less than 20 and the characteristic strength for our experiment is 30 N/mm2 , the standard deviation for our experiment is 8 N/mm2. After the standard deviation is founded, the target mean strength can be found by using the formula, f target mean strength = f characteristic strength + margin ( standard deviation )
= 30 N/mm2 + 1.64 (8 N/mm2)
=43 N/mm 2
The purpose of the target mean strength is to increases the possibility of the concrete achieve the compressive strength which it is needed. The cement type and the aggregates’ type that had been chosen in this experiment is the ordinary portland cement, and also the crushed fine and course aggregates. The water per cement ratio is found through the

For our experiment, the characteristic strength for our concrete is 30 N/mm2 . There are 7 cubes and 2 beams which is needed for the sample in our experiment. The total volume of the concrete that we needed in the experiment is 0.04035 m3. So the mass of the aggregates, cement, and also important to ensure that the concrete is produced in good quality. So, the mass of the course aggregate, fine aggregate, cement, and also the water content are 49.63 kg, 19.37kg, 17.15kg, and 9.08 kg
The weekly average was not precise due to the values on Tuesday and Thursday being so much higher proportionally compared to Monday and Wednesday (Graph 1 ). Specific heat was also a value which varied based on the accuracy of the execution of the experiment. Different days lead to different amounts of precision and this was due to the random errors. Random errors were mistakes caused by the experimenter. Tuesday had the lowest standard deviation for all the metals (Table 1).

Therefore, from the experiments, the purpose of finding the percent of water in a hydrate is by dividing the part water into the whole of the hydrate, and every time, during

As a low-contact system, quality assurance is constantly being assessed and examined to keep the product quality high and consistent. All aspects of the production process are closely monitored within their facilities, which provides quality assurance to their loyal customer
Perfing is the second step to this process. Perfing is a perforating gun that is lowered by a wire line. Electrical current is sent down thousands of feet. The electrical current sets off a charge and it shoots small holes through cement. The way it works is desired depth is drilled vertically, then it is turned 90 degrees, and begins to drill horizontally.
Unit 6, Assignment 1. Name Institution Section 1: Data File Description The academic performance in class is measured through the exam metrics such as the GPA. However, the GPA may show the performance but not the several factors that define the overall outcome of the GPA. Some of the factors that may affect the GPA score is gender. This paper seeks to find out if there is any relationship between gender and the GPA performance.
The surface at which the concrete is supposed to be placed should be properly damped so that excess water is removed. Use of fibers or silica fumes can also help to reduce the crack formation. 5. Plastic Shrinkage in Shape of
We kept the data in a table, after each trial we found the average of the three trials. We did this by adding the data for the three trials of the heights that the clay was dropped from. Then divided the sum by the number of trials. We repeated this for each height where the clay was
Process and tools Target Corporation uses tolls and process for product safety and quality assurance. The company assesses a program for risk –based product safety and quality at every stage in the product life cycle, from development through the life of brand product. Target global team implement a program across 36 countries and 2228 factories producing target product, during the process will require independent third-party testing to validate safety and quality before the guests purchase product. the vendor in the company are expected to employ best practices, including clearly defined and well-documented manufacturing and quality processes including staff training , and record keeping. What does the TC required to do the job?
I could not forget the excitement I had waking up in the morning and running straight to the Lego structures deciding how to build a certain structure and a daydream I had of imagining of actual being built in real life. / deciding how to build a certain structure. The snapping and fitting of bricks, rods and gears captivated me for countless hours. Every Lego brick I laid down furthered my interest in designing and engineering.
Determining Smallest Possible Charge on Droplet Using Millikan Oil Drop Experiment Simulation Abstract: The purpose of this lab was to determine the value of the smallest charge using a Millikan oil drop simulation on the TI-83+ graphing calculator. This was done by using a program on the TI-83+ graphing calculator, where an oil droplet was placed on the screen and cursor keys were used to adjust the voltage until the droplet is suspended. The droplets radius, voltage, plate separation, and charge are then stored into the system. The simulation was repeated for 40 droplets. After the mass and charge of the oil was calculated, then rearranged depending on step size to find smallest charge, which was 1.67E-19.
When I used 10 volts the standard deviation for hydrogen was 2.5+0.23=2.73 and 2.5-0.23=2.27 so the range of values is between 2.27 cm3 and 2.73 cm3 and the standard deviation for oxygen was 1.3+0.12=1.42 and 1.3-0.12=1.18 so the range of the standard deviation was between 1.18 to 1.42. When I used 11 volts the standard deviation for hydrogen was 5.8+0.20=6.0 and 5.8-0.20=5.6 so the range
Cracks are expected at intervals in this slab (Usually .90 to 1.2m) and are held together with structural steel. Appropriate spacing between cracks must be determined in order for this method to work. Continuously reinforced roads can sometimes be more expensive than the other two methods due to the higher quality of steel used in its construction, however this can be lowered by the reduced amount of cement used in the concrete mixture due to the thinner layer of concrete in comparison with the other two methods. With proper management, this method can be similar to the other two in terms of durability and cost
