Having to make decisions in a short amount of time can lead to choices irrational choices with life-changing consequences. Because people think of a solution too quickly, a hasty decision may not consider all the possibilities, and have obvious faults. Many characters in William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet exhibit hastiness, but Romeo makes hasty decisions frequently, and he usually winds up suffering the consequences of his own decisions.
