Most kids in this century use other people’s work because they are lazy and decided that it is not worth their time.They copy word by word, and not knowing consequences. Multiple high school students just get zeros on their homework assignment, but they do not realize how important this is. This is called plagiarism. Plagiarism is stealing people’s ideas or work. There are so many other ways to explain this. Such as, Plagiarism is when you copy a makeup tutorial and end up looking like a busted Jlo. Plagiarism is commonly used when students did not do their homework and realize that is due next period. Some might be too lazy and just copy and paste into their essay. There are so much different consequences, such as, “.Plagiarism can get you expelled from your course. Plagiarism can result in your work being destroyed. Plagiarism can result in expulsion from your academic institution. Plagiarism can result in legal action” (Consequences of Plagiarism) Yes, these consequences are extremely serious, and people do not understand. “Neither ignorance nor stature excuses a person from the ethical and legal ramifications of committing plagiarism. Before attempting any writing project, learn about plagiarism.” (6 Consequences of plagiarism), this shows that students do not the know them, and need to learn all about it, before doing a simple homework assignment. One specific example of plagiarism is, one day, A teacher gave a super easy homework assignment and gave the students a week to do it. The students, of course, did not care. They waited last minute and said let’s just go to a website and copy everything really quick. They, obviously, got caught, and they got zeros. People hear stories every day and still do not take the time to learn about plagiarism. People go back and realize that they have used plagiarism in their careers. Students go day by day, cheating the system. Making themselves lazy, and not knowing this will only weaken them.
