This data collection also been known as ‘desk study’ (Naoum, 2007).
Data collection technique
The technique of data collection which have been applied for this research in order to achieve research objective can be categorized into:
1. Literature reviews
2. Case study (survey)
3. Case study (semi-structured interview)
Literature review
The literature review data, opinions and information have already explained in the previous Literature Review section. The literature review section is from the previous page of the report.
Case study
A case study suitable for this research in terms of deep analysis by narrowing the scope of study that been discussed. There are three case studies been conducted by conducting semi-structured interview with project executive and operational manager which have vast experiences in Public Construction industry to obtain information and deeper explanation on the Methods and Applications in Public Sector Construction Industries in Malaysia.
Then, a summary of the risk identification and risk response process and framework of risk management of demolition works in high density areas can be outlined.

Then, responses obtained from the respondent (interviewee) been described in details with supplementary documents and photographs in data findings.
From the data collected and filtered from the respondent (interviewee), we then will produce and accumulate on data table to ease us to incur an inference of our research study.
Questionnaire Form (Survey Form)
For the questionnaire form, first we will gather all the survey data and then tabulate the data in software such as Microsoft Excel or SPSS System. This software will help us tabulate the answer ticked by the respondents thus creating one majorities finding and data. Then, we will also produce and accumulate table or chart pie from information we collected from the survey forms. The table or chart pie will help us to find what the findings of the research study are.
After the data is gathered and filtered from the two methods above (Qualitative and Quantitative), we will analyze what is the method and application that is most suitable and applicable in Public Sector Construction Industry in Malaysia. From the two methods above we can also know both the Value Management and Engineering method and applications is worth the cost or waste the clients’

Thus, before reaching any conclusion it is necessary to get more information about survey. Thus, all the above mentioned questions can question conclusion of the argument. The answers may support or may not support the argument. Therefore, before reaching any conclusion, first gather all the information required to answer above questions, which will help to reach on right
This research project will use mixed research methods in order to obtain qualitative and quantitative data. The qualitative data will be acquired through the review of literature as well as the analysis of other sources so that one can understand what previous research was done on the topic and how to formulate a response to the hypothesis from one’s own discoveries as well as other research sources. The primary research is found through quantitative data, which will be attained from an experiment that will determine whether the hypothesis is correct or incorrect. This research project will be done in order to prove which chemicals and substances will increase the pH of the blood by initiating certain processes in the body which will cause
The objective of this essay is to explore and analyse a research topic relevant to me as a practitioner. This research critique will then be utilised in practice. . According to Jolley 2010 research is the driving force in improving care to patients through evidence based research. Research based practice is a hallmark of professional nursing as stated by (ICN)cite .Closing
Available methods To achieve accuracy and effectiveness when carrying out this research, careful consideration of the methodology is needed. To restate, carrying out this research will obtain qualitative data
Practice Essay - March 14, 2023 Name: Conor Thomas Type essay below: The police lights are blaring around a house in the middle of the night, you are a police officer inside the house and have the one of two suspected murderers in front of you and his phone in your hand because you have been led to believe that critical evidence to your case is on his phone. What would you do in this situation, look on his phone for the evidence? After all, it may be the only way to bring the perpetrator to justice, but some of the public disagrees and thinks that looking on his phone violates his privacy. The people are split on this subject, some say that it violates the persons privacy and even that it violates the fourth amendment, while others believe
This data set was compiled through using many different surveying methods, and yielded over 9,000 respondents. In order to answer the question, the researcher organized the data from the database through different steps.
There is a need for a shift away from the focus of specific hazards and a call for strategic approaches to reducing vulnerabilities before hazardous events occur. Knowledge of potential hazards, whether it be the physical, economic, or environmental vulnerabilities must be known prior to any hazardous event. With this knowledge known, any hazard can be conquered by first responders and the government rather than assessing what went wrong after the event. Focusing on specific hazards is a difficult task, thus understanding the underlying vulnerabilities to infrastructure, hazardous material, or the economy are vital in risk management. Policy makers and first responders alike can use this information to prevent risk and hazardous events.
Based on test scores, Alabama’s Department of Education decided that there needed to be a change in the way students in Alabama learned math and science. Scores put students from Alabama at a disadvantage against students across the nation. Following extensive research, a committee created The Alabama Math, Science, and Technology Initiative (AMSTI) to help Alabama be competitive in the fields of science and math. The idea behind AMSTI is students learn material best by hands-on exploration. Instead of traditional textbook and lecture instruction, students need to be conducting investigations and discovering knowledge for themselves.
In this report I am going to be comparing and contrasting quantitative and qualitative methods of research. Quantitative data is data that is generally focused on numbers for example methods like questionnaires and official statistics. Qualitative data is data that is a lot more in depth for example interviews and observations. I am going to be comparing questionnaires with interviews and official statistics with observations. Questionnaires are used to collect quantitative data as the results can be expressed with numbers.
Dear admission officers, I believe that the University of Waterloo is the perfect place for me to pursue a bachelor degree in biomedical engineering. Having a strong passion for science, biomedical engineering is such an amazing program that will both allow me to further explore the profoundness in all three sciences, as well as applying them to the real world and making a difference in the global community. Waterloo’s outstanding co-op system will even advance me into the career of engineering and prepare me for the future challenges. In addition, Waterloo’s excellent courses, professors, students and its exciting student life also build up the reputation of Waterloo that attracts me to become a member of this brilliant community. All in all,
Thus, this paper is going to explain (i) the surveys purpose; (ii) the survey participants; (iii) the method of delivery; (iv)
This qualitative check list is planed based on accepted principles of implementing qualitative research and that may affect its quality. Using of this qualitative checklist is appropriate for people with basic understanding of qualitative methodology(18). This checklist contains 13 questions grouped into 6 themes include aims of the research, study design, recruitment and data collection, data analysis, findings/interpretations, implementation of research and then overall assessment of the study (Table 1). also has provided hints for completing(18). Rigor, credibility and relevance have been considered in the
Introduction of Proposed Study For my research study, I have chosen the topic, Persistence and Student Success of LGBT Students at Community Colleges. Students that identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender often face a multitude of problems on college campuses that keep them from successfully completing academic program requirements. “Sexual-minority students on college or university campuses encounter unique challenges because of how they are perceived and treated as a result of their sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression” (Rankin, 2005). Some of the factors that attribute most to this consists of not having enough support services that students whom identify in this population can receive assistance from and not having a support network outside of the academic environment.
Data would be collected from this questionnaire and used
