In this era, music, movies and comics are a part of entertainment that people preach in order to escape the exhaust that they face every day. It is not because people are naturally like this escapism but entertainment is the only one source that easy to access and can make them happy in just a moment. Besides put people to rest, entertainment also is a good channel for people to know about issues that happen in the society, culture and the world which is good because it can influence our mind, way of thinking in subtle way. If we talk about movies, there will be a lot of genres to choose such as horror, action, comedy and romance. Women typically would prefer romance and men vouch for action. However, in this course, I learned about one movie called ‘Sepet’ this film can be considered as captivated and unique even the love theme is not so bold or excessive like other romantic movies. The song ‘Man in the mirror’ is one of his songs that explain to us the way to make the world a better place which is we have to change first in stanza three “If you wanna make the world a better place (if you wanna make the world a better place), take a look at yourself, and then make a change”. Everything starts from the people itself because if everyone changed themselves then the whole world will eventually be changed. A small great change like treating others with unconditional love, self-discipline and compassion between people in the society actually can help the world to be better.
