Without a doubt, there has always been a great risk of injury while participating in contact sports. The participants involved in any contact sporting event are always susceptible to being injured. These participants are completely aware of the everyday risk, but the energy that these sports bring, keep them going regardless. Over the years, there have been countless numbers of injuries due to the nature of these sports, but still millions of people young to old gain interest everyday. The game of football is very intriguing. Many people only see this sport as violent hard hitting athletes, but little do they no there is a lot more to the sport of football. Hard work, long days and fatigue is just a small part of what preparation is like for a football athlete. The biggest benefit of any football player is not only being dedicated but being able to have a so called second family. The sport of football comes with many learning stretches such as discipline, dedication, and teamwork no matter the level the athlete which goes way beyond the field. Football players throughout their time of playing and training receive ten very important benefits that most spectators or even the players wouldn't realize. The athletes of this sport gain cardiovascular health, increased bone density and mass due to their diets, cardio and high interval training which benefits the body in a very healthy way in the long run. Other benefits include improving work ethic skills, stress relief, mental health improvement, teamwork and last simply just the overall workout they receive and making it an enjoyable activity to participate in.
