This did cause struggles in the beginning, but eventually paid off in the future by creating more equal politics. When these major events occurred in the Gilded Age, it caused periods of success, failure, and sometimes overall no change. Some outcomes of these new ideas being formed caused corruption, but led to the government and politics becoming much stronger and more organized. Most of the ideas published wanted to increase wealth and rivalries between businesses. Even though the Gilded Age benefited with the reforms created and fell with it’s poor use of money, it helped create the way we run our government
These laws that have been created is beneficial to the rich. The ones responsible creating these policies are the ones who want the lower class to suffer to gain money. Peace is granted to the upper class because of the power they have ignoring the poor. The state needs wealthy allies to become powerful and richer which the laws that are created limit the poor having no access to
The Black Death changed this stable social and economic landscape because of the death and fear and confusion created by death. The people of Europe experienced a large change in their everyday lives affected of course by death, but also affected by the unstable society and economy. How the people reacted also contributed to making the society and economy even more unstable. The small population, caused by the Black Death, drastically changed the once strong and stable economy of Europe. The Black Death effected the laborers greatly, and because there were less laborers, nobles had to pay the laborers more.
When the Bubonic plague hit, a new change in values occurred. With millions dying, the now less plentiful peasant realized they had more bargaining power. Peasants demand more from their rulers or began leaving there lords and going to more plentiful places for work. A middle class began to develop, and along with the Magna Carta, the middle class had representation in politics. People began to value their selves more.
Citizens of Old England were pushed away from their home country as a result of the social, religious, but most importantly economic changes that were taking place. Staring in the 1650s, the population and economy increased dramatically as a result of the Agricultural Revolution. This Revolution caused a boom in food production and wages which eventually led to a huge population growth as well. With all of these new people needing food, England developed into a total commercial/mercantilist economy. All of these factors caused the rich to get richer, and the poor to get poorer.
The slaves were considered property and could become free by their owners but it wasn’t common. They could be freed if their owner died, they became too expensive to feed, or the slaves could buy their own freedom. The Romans would earn a higher grade if the laws protected people that weren’t citizens and also slaves. There weren’t many citizens and it wasn’t always fair. If they made the laws apply to everyone in Rome, then they would’ve probably gained an A or
The Progressive Era was a time of many reformations in the late 19th and early 20th centuries that boosted the economy tremendously and benefited many Americans. As the economy was growing, so were people’s rights and their working and living conditions. Many problems people faced during this time were corrupt governments, ruthless business practices, child labor, health hazards, unsafe working conditions and poor wages that led to many difficulties facing the many citizens. The conditions of this time were brutal forcing children to work, having unfair relations between gender roles, and causing people to become sick from the sanitized food or water. Life was definitely not easy for these hard-working Americans who were treated very unfairly,
Many Americans were concerned by the change that needed to happen for the people. The people were starting to stand up for what they believed in. With population increasing, things started to get out of control. Many political people held to much power over the people. People living in poverty were suffering more than they have been.
The growth of number of people rose, prices increased with the development of capitalism system. The standard of living started to suffer so they had to work in order to eliminate the suffering. They also had to pay taxes to the government. A poor financial situation led to economic crisis. Haiti 's economy before the revolution was good but when the revolution started the economy
