The definition of abortion is the termination of a pregnancy, most often performed during the first 28 weeks of pregnancy. A woman who decides to have an abortion, may have many different and personal reasons to have one. Abortion is a big controversy on whether it should be legal or not.
One side, Pro-Life, believes abortion should be illegal because it is a crime of not giving a child a well-deserved life. Since a baby is said to be a God’s gift often, people think it is going against God by doing this. They believe that every life has a purpose behind it. Some of the people who are Pro-Life say no matter what, taking a life is murder. So they think abortion is considered murder.
The other side, Pro-Choice, isn’t Pro-Abortion, that means always choosing abortion over childbirth. Pro-Choice supports the pregnant woman’s decision on if she should have the child or not. They support women being able to choose

Some people may believe it is unethical. But it should not be illegal. Abortion should be an option for pregnant women and should not be frowned upon, it is their body and the woman should be able to decide what happens to her body, not others. Abortion should be legal because women should have a right over their body,
The first reason abortion should be legal is because women have rights over their bodies. This means they get to make the decisions for their body and no one else does. In other situations, people can decide for themselves. For example, tattoos. As long as you are over 18, you can choose to get a tattoo. There is no reason a woman should be criminalized for choosing to do something with her body. In the article 15 Reasons To Be Pro-Choice the author explains who should be in charge. “If a person does not have the female reproductive organs required to become pregnant, then it is not their place to preach about the morality of pregnancy and choice.” (Mary
They continue to believe that a fetus is a human life as soon as conception has occurred. They go off of what the bibles say, that it is a sin to kill an innocent life. Most of their arguments aren’t supported by factual evidence. And when they try to provide a counterexample, they always base it again back to the killing of an innocent life. Pro-abortionists however, do have supporting evidence that a fetus is not in fact a human.
There are two groups people think of pro-life and pro-choice. Pro-life supporters agree that life starts at conception so abortion at any stage of pregnancy is wrong. Murdering your child. They believe that life is important, and the life of the unborn baby has the same rights
Firstly, the pro-life stance is based on the idea that every human life has intrinsic value and is therefore deserving of respect and protection. This value is not based on any external factors such as age, health, or social status. Rather, it is an inherent quality that is possessed by every
One side of the argument is Pro-Choice, this is the side that is for abortion. This side believes each woman should have the choice to do what they want with their body, this thought process is what spurned the Roe vs. Wade case. Pro-Choice focuses strictly on the women who is pregnant. The idea that it is their body is a valid point, the idea that not all pregnancies are planned or even wanted is another point that the Pro-Choice movement will argue to defend their side of this abortion debate. Pro-Choice feels that the women’s civil rights are being violated by not having the choice to decide for themselves.
On one side of the argument people believe that it 's wrong to kill an unborn child because all life is important regardless of if there born or not. Often the people who are “pro life” are also Christian or belong to another
The pro-choice/pro-life is a major argument in politics in the United States today. However it is not so simple as pro-choice and pro-life. Pro-choice has been coined to mean that women should have the right to choose abortion and it should be a legal option. Pro-life has been connected with the banning of abortion and looking at a fetus as a life so abortion is basically murder. However this pro-life view has gotten very convoluted.
People who are pro-life, believe abortion should not be legal, while some people believe that the fetus is not a living person therefore it should be legal. There are also people who are in the middle, they are neutral, they are neither for or against abortions. If abortion is illegal then it will still happen. Women would still find a way to still have abortions but, they will be taking a greater risk in having them done. Abortion affects many people.
Abortion is a topic that causes controversy all over the world. In the case of Roe v Wade, abortion was declared legal, although many still question if this should be the case (5). Whether you are pro-life or pro-choice, stating your opinion about the issue can create an outbreak of opinions. Yes, abortion is legal, and yes, women have the right to do with their bodies as they please. However, many consider abortion to be murder, which is not legal and can be punishable by death.
There are two sides to this debate in which individuals identify themselves as either “pro-choice” or “pro-life.” Supporters classify themselves as pro-choice, and argue “that choosing abortion is a right that should not be limited by governmental or
Doris Gudino Professor Chounlamountry Political Science 1 27 July 2015 Pro-Choice Anyone? A woman has, undoubtedly, the freedom to procreate, but once a woman chooses to retreat from that freedom, a commotion arises. Abortion is a woman’s choice for many reasons. It’s her body, therefore, no one else can decide for said person.
Abortion is just a technical way of saying the murder of a unborn and should be abolished. Abortion is murder. According to lifenews.com, federal law prohibits the death penalty for a pregnant women until after the child is born. (18 U.S.C.A.S.3596). Doing this means according to the law, a innocent unborn infant cannot be sentenced to death for a crime he/she did not commit.
Abortion Abortion is the ending of pregnancy by abolishing a fetus or embryo before it can survive outside the uterus. Abortion is a very controversial topic, for example, one side of this topic believes abortion is cruel and committing murder, while the other side believes that since the fetus or embryo isn 't developed enough to be considered a living human being yet, that abortion is not commiting murder. Despite this information, there is a lot more to abortion than the opinion of it being “right” or “wrong”. According to “Students for life” who are pro life, about 1 million abortions are executed each year in the US. That data adds up to 22% of pregnancies ending in abortion.
My stance on abortion is that it should be illegal, unless there are health risks involved, major ones. Other than that, I really do not feel you should get an abortion. There is always adoption. If you do not want the baby, then give it to someone who does.
The controversy over whether or not a woman is allowed to abort her baby has swept over the nation. With millions of different opinions, there can only be two options- pro life or against it. The right to pick and choose whether or not a woman wants to keep her baby is solely her choice. The media and many protestors find ways to degrade and depress many women who face this difficult choice. Every woman should have the right to decide whether she is ready to be a fit parent or not.
Abortion should be illegal because it unjustly takes innocent lives, insults and violates Christian values, and inflicts pain and illnesses on
