The immigration system is not something people think about every day, but it is a huge problem for the individuals coming to America. Many people want to come to America because of the opportunities, one being education. Immigrants may have the opportunity to come to America, but cannot afford to go to college to receive the education deserved. There needs to be an education plan provided to immigrants. This new program, called Sponsoring Hope, will provide immigrants with sponsors who pay for them to attend school. After the immigrant, has received the education of their choice then they will begin the process of repaying their sponsor. This program will benefit the immigrants and the community; therefore, it should be offered to all immigrants.

Palmer Community Center was once and still is a beacon structure that encompasses the history of Rockbridge County, Virginia. Since opening its door as a school house, to its transformation to a community center, Palmer is a structure that is currently used by its alumni and community members. This iconic building set in the Buffalo Community should be protected for future generations to enjoy. Established in 1902 Palmer served as a school house, referred to as Palmer Academy until 1906, and then evolved into Palmer High School from 1906-1920. From 1920-1956 it had become known as Palmer Graded School, however, in 1956, Palmer School fell vacant and was no longer used for education. It is now known to the surrounding area as Palmer Community Center and is still used by the community frequently for local events and meetings.1
