Analytical Option 2: Holden’s Conversation with Sunny Holden Caulfield finds himself in many difficult situations in The Catcher in the Rye by J.D. Salligner, situations that a sixteen-year old normally wouldn't find themselves in. After Holden is kicked out of Pencey, he fend for himself in New York to keep the news from his parents. Holden rents a room at the Edmont Hotel for a few nights and encounters a man named Maurice, a pimp, in the elevator. At this time, Holden is “so depressed I can’t even think” (102), he says the decision is against all his “principles” (102), but in a state of loneliness, drunkenness, and teenage horniness, Holden agrees to purchase a prostitute for a quick “throw”. A woman named Sunny knocks on Holden’s door,
Visual: A large village within the mountains is covered in snow and decorated with lights that is displayed in a snow globe. It is four degrees at night and the snow is falling slowly as it covers the roof of lodge cabins and shops. The snow globe has a mahogany structure around it. The structure holds the snow globe in place; it also has a golden plate with letters on the front. The letters are engraved within the plate, and it reads “Telluride Magazine”. The snow globe is sitting on a wooden table. Telluride, Colorado is defined by its location and winter scenery.
Florida was up by six on LSU’s last possession with four minutes to go. They drove down into the red zone and on 1st and goal got it to the five. Ok, 2nd and goal at the 5 LSU gets it to the one-yard line and has two plays to score. I can feel my heart beating staring at the TV. Here we go, LSU hands it off to the full back, Florida gets a nice defensive push and stops it.

Argumentative essay Most people have a group of people they hang around or are associated with. With this group of people they are called rednecks or hicks, Many people believe that rednecks actually have red necks usually it is people who don’t associate with them or are from another state, that is not the case here. When redneck is being used it is describing a group of people, who aren’t afraid to get muddy, or talk about the stock show. Although there are many unspoken rules for being a redneck, three of these rules are the most important.
The shooting of a Cache County Jail inmate that one Cache official said was an “uncomplicated case” which would only take a couple of weeks to complete is now in its fourth week.
My favorite sentence from this reading had to be, "The arms were in sad shape, because everybody was always sitting on them, but they were pretty comfortable chairs." (Salinger 18). In the short sentence, I furthermore get a glimpse of Holden's voice and personality, this time by seeing him contradict himself. He describes how sad looking and beat up the chair is, yet goes on to say how nice and comfortable it is. This to me is a very important clue to Holden's overall personality in regard to life. Additionally, I found the sentence structure interesting here, as a typical human could fit two or three sentences into the one that he wrote.

I am back yet again to talk about something very near and dear to my heart, and that is protecting our senior citizens. As always I would like to reiterate that seniors have a multitude of choices when it comes to instruments of self-defense but that there are only a few that can be both truly effective and humane at the same time. A handgun, for example, is wildly effective in deterring an attack but they can also be wildly effective in deterring someone's ability to breathe and wake up and all that good stuff. So let us discuss a much safer alternative to handguns but one that can be every bit as effective in stopping an attack on a senior, the Double Trouble stun gun by Zap.
It was reported by Kyle’s parents that he is almost completely unintelligible. Kyle’s mother reports that she believes he is not on the same communication level as his peers and she believes he is a late talker. Kyle’s pediatrician told his parents to wait another year before taking action. It would be beneficial for the clinician to gather more information from Kyle’s parents. Additional information that would be beneficial would include: when did Kyle first begin speaking, who is most able to understand Kyle, with whom does Kyle prefer to interact, on what level does his receptive and expressive communication fall, how well does Kyle play with his parents and peers, is Kyle able to engage in joint attention, and is he able to engage
My great-grandmother used to say, “Live your life in such a way that when you die, even the Postman will miss you.” I never thoroughly understood those words until Jimmy Fesmire, a prominent figure and deacon in my church, passed away in a car accident after attending a Sunday morning service on a clear, sunny day in May last year. His passing was untimely and truly unfair, but even after death, he continued to impact lives. The number of people he had helped with a servant’s heart and cheerful mind was innumerable. Jimmy Fesmire is the only individual I know whose life mirrored my great-grandmother’s quote.

Trying to go to college with no financial support is difficult; therefore, I agree with the government in making two years of college free for all students. Although many students attend college, most can’t afford the cost of obtaining the degree. The students who make it through college are left with the progressive debt they’ve built, due to student loans; therefore, the government granting students two years of free college will, in turn, decrease the amount of debt accumulated by students from student loans, allow students an adequate amount of time to determine what occupational field is desired, and level the playing field in the labor force for students who wouldn’t normally be able to afford college; therefore, they have no degree to
