I can concur on your essay regarding Coronel Reed’s Toxic Leadership article. With both of us being from 7th Group we have seen our fair share of Toxic Leadership; as well as great leadership throughout our time in group. In your paper you mention this toxic style of leadership creates a lack of trust among subordinates and I could not agree with you more. Once this problem is identified by the teammates on the ODA it becomes quite obvious that the person in position of authority is only making decisions to benefit himself or his career. Like you said, this is when the subordinates take notice and begin to realize that their leader has altered motives for his actions. Once the lack of trust has been lost, especially from a person in a leadership
FBLA gives a new meaning to a student led organization; FBLA gives power to the students that run the organization to serve the community and the school, while developing business leadership. As an officer, I would contribute to its legacy of responsible leadership and continue to uphold the goals of not only our chapter, but also the entire organization. Using the power and influence of an officer will further empower me to help lead the members with the other

Over 260 individuals suffered injuries that required medical attention, while more than 150 buildings incurred damage (U.S. Chemical Safety and Hazard Investigation Board, 2013). Upon examining the incident, it is apparent that failed leadership contributed to the occurrence of the blast, and exacerbated the damages. Over the discourse of this paper, leadership failures will be discussed, and a leadership plan will be presented

From the textbook called ____________________ by Ciulla, there is two quotes that she has put into the textbook which refers back to a key point.

Prior to Chief Davis’ transition to the top executive position, the department worked towards maintaining the professional pattern of policing (Thacher, 2000b). In fact, the department’s leadership attempted to remove the majority of outside influences. Nevertheless, the department was proud of its training program, its professional appearance, and longevity in the community. But, eventually, the lack of input from city hall, community, and lack of willingness to transform with the times brought about the change in leadership. Chief Davis came into his role with a definite vision for the future and developed a plan to realize his objectives.
Therefore, authoritative leadership is less effective than collaborative leadership because fear and power create anarchy and dissent, while respect and decency create a harmonious society. This claim can be supported by Machiavelli, Plato and Macbeth. Firstly, collaborative

Chapter 12 outlined the psychodynamic approach to leadership, which focuses on the subtleties and undercurrents of human thoughts and behaviors (Northouse, 2016). The basis of the psychodynamic approach is deterministic, insofar as it advances the premise of human behavior having a specific cause or origin. The Clinical Paradigm is a structure used to help explain the basic foundation of the approach and consists of the following: 1) there is always a reason for how people behave, 2) many of the cognitive reasons people have for doing something operate below conscious awareness, 3) emotional expression and regulation is the prime indicator of who a person is, and 4) the interactions with oneself and others is based on experiences from the past
In developing this paper on leadership, I examined what was most important to me as a leader. As I reflected on my leadership philosophy, I thought about my experiences and the principals that I have learned through my own self-discovery and the observation of other leaders that I have had throughout my life. My leadership philosophy paper will focus on what leadership is to me, core values, and knowledge of others. In thinking about my definition of leadership, I thought of what was most important to me in and as a leader.
An examination of several contextual considerations within the literature of and surrounding Shakespeare’s, (1610-11/2014), work in “The Tragedy of King Richard the Second” can reveal insightful catalysts regarding Richard’s leadership failures within this production (1.1-5.6, pp. 331-369). Readers can find cascading implications accompanying various allegorical allusions characters signify to gain a comprehensive understanding of the forces that influence Richard’s incapacity to render sound leadership decisions. This paper argues how Gaunt and York’s medieval mentorship fail to successfully influence Richard’s leadership decisions while Bolingbroke’s Machiavellian retribution catalyzes leadership failures leading to his deposition. Furthermore, Richard’s choices concerning his delegation of authority and contingencies for effective communications with his tactical staff during the campaign in Ireland foster failures beyond his strategic disregard for societal change and political risks.
For some reason, I had not considered leadership until reading this article, but it makes sense. There are many instances here where Harry takes on a leadership role, whether it is by choice or not, and these examples definitely could help readers learn the necessary qualities, and actions, of a leader. I also had not considered Voldemort a leader before, but I see how it can show that there are positive and negative leaders. I thought the use of tables in the article helped clearly explained how each situation correlated to a lesson in power or leadership. I think it strengthened Rosser’s argument, but I do believe that the tables could have been placed better throughout the text.
In spite of the fact that’ leadership analysis’ is the art of breaking down a leader into basic psychological components for study and use by academics and practitioners, a sound leadership analyses
