Add into the mix that teachers are not taught how to control the classes and just thrown in difficulties start to rise. In the past students were taught to respect their teachers no matter as they were with all adults. With western culture invading their minds that respect is diminishing. Making a student stand in the corner or anything that might embarrass them in front of their peers is now looked at with pride. Schools prohibit students being suspended or told to stand outside the classroom. Mob behavior of the students (if one is late a group will be late if not all). Teachers can point to that has an effect is either the threat or the actual
The students come first, and if they have a teacher that does not value the importance of attendance and the effect it has on student’s long-term progression, then next steps should be considered by the principal. The School Culture and climate is based on a shared commitment to the students that should be abided by at all times. For instance, there are policies based around student progression, success, and classroom structure, scheduling, and curriculum. Putting students first requires preparation on the part of the teacher in order to produce a critical foundation that arranges opportunities for students to be observed, evaluated and in a balanced classroom environment.
Similar to our world today, school has changed immensely over time. In past years, school used to be more strict and structured. Students had to stand when they talked and had a much greater respect for their teachers. Now, school is much more relaxed because we can take more liberal classes such as foreign language. We are no longer confined to the typical generic classes like math and science.
It is absurd that when students, who are eager to get to class on time to learn something new, are forced to be late, simply because other students simply stand unmoving in the hallway transfixed on their phones or talking with their friends. As a result, the regular flow of traffic in the hallways at Las Cruces High School are blocked so badly, it is as if you were witnessing a traffic jam at rush hour. This prompts trying to go the bathroom between classes highly improbable, for it is hard enough to make it to class on time without trying to make a stop at the bathroom. Students have resorted to plowing and shoving through people as their only way to possibly make it to class, and be in their seat before the tardy bell rings. I think that
When students have later start times, that can result in more students showing up to school on time More and more students will start showing up at school and not be late, if school start times are changed to later. “The average attendance rate rose from 90 percent to 94 percent.”. Attendance will go because students will be less tired and more willing to go to school and show up on time. Students will be more agreeable to going to showing up at school and showing up on
This creates a major cultural split between students and the teacher. It

I could not believe my eyes or my ears when I witnessed some of the the students arguing and being disrespectful with teachers during class. Some of the students were having their own conversation while the teacher was up lecturing during class time. A lot of the students had their cell phone phones out on their desk texting away and not paying attention to anything the teacher said. I noticed that a lot of the students came to class and you never saw them taking
Main Point: Teachers are becoming “cookie cutter” teachers. Teachers have little to no control over their own classroom, teachers are strongly encouraged to comply with the standards of common core decided by the federal bureaucrat. Common core leaves no room for a teacher to uniquely engage each

However, corporal punishments aren’t indeed the appropriate way neither the best solution to deal with the misbehavior of a little bairn. According to a meta-analysis of seventy-five studies conducted by Elizabeth T. Gershoff and Andrew Grogan-Kaylor, spanking is detrimental to a child’s development. There are many known negative effects of spanking children that affect a person from childhood through adulthood. The only positive outcome of spanking that was discussed in this study was more immediate compliance from children. It is no wonder that the effectiveness and appropriateness of spanking is commonly debated in today’s society because eighty percent of children in all cultures are spanked. It is troubling that there is an abundant amount of research that proves spanking is detrimental to children but it is still a commonly used discipline tactic by parents.
Introduction Corporal punishment is a controversial topic and has been the source of extensive legal debate on a global scale, with evidence being presented to support numerous countering views and opinions.
