SECTION ONE: GENERAL INTRODUCTION
1.0 Introduction:
With the growing economy of Nigeria and the continued influx of foreign investors, organisations have had to rethink their operation styles in bid to strengthen their presence in the face of competitiveness. Even still, the changing nature of competiveness has forced organisations to look inwards and remind themselves of their core values and look for ways to connect that to their business strategies as an added advantage. In recent years, the attention to organisational of organisational culture and sophisticated information technology is on high priority for these firms.

H1: Technology has a significant relationship to the sustenance of corporate culture in organisations.

1.4 Significance of the study
This study will attempt to fill the existing knowledge gap regarding the effects of adopted technology in the sustenance of corporate culture. Prior to this research, it was observed that there was limited availability of materials relating to the maintenance of culture in Nigerian organisations, neither was there an extensive exploration on practical effects of technology on corporate culture
It will also be beneficial to top management of organisations, in hopes that it facilitates strategic consideration in the introduction of technology to different aspects of the organisation. In relationship to the overall organisations performance, findings from this study will help organisation to better understand how the competitive advantage of a frim can be planned with attention to corporate culture and technology.
Employee behaviour in an organisation will be better understood from this research, as it will review attitudes to change in processes stemming from adoption/change in technology.
