She has been recognized by many peers, directors, and interviewers for these characteristics. The thing I admire most about Lea Michele is her strength. On the show, Lea Michele’s character, Rachel Berry, had an on-screen romance with a character named Finn Hudson. This character was played by actor Cory Monteith. The two actors began a real life romance while working on the television show together. Their relationship became very serious and was often speculated by the paparazzi. Cory Monteith passed away in the summer of 2013, just after the end of Glee’s fourth season. He died of a heroin overdose, and he and Lea were still in a relationship at this time. She gave interviews with talk show hosts such as Ellen Degeneres and Jimmy Kimmel, but she soon threw herself back into her work. Lea Michele had went back to filming Glee, and back to her work on her solo projects. These projects included and album and a book that she had started before Cory’s death. Lea didn’t abandon these projects after the tragedy, she found refuge in her work and continued to prove her
