Community Colleges also provide continuing education even after they have gotten a degree and a job. The idea of community colleges to me is a place to get a good education and explore different options, and meet some great people.

For the first time ever, I am considering continuing my education further to earn a Master’s degree. I now have ideas for my own companies I never imagined. However, I know as time goes on my ideas for the future may change, as they have since high school. As a result, I would consider my main accomplishment to date to be persistent growth while tenaciously finishing my schooling despite many challenges I have faced, and have yet to face, I refuse to quit.
At first, I was nervous about the extra workload and how this could effect my grades, but looking back, applying for the honors program was one of the smartest things I could have done. The program offers many opportunities, such as conferences and traveling, to learn more about my major and much more. The honors program asks that we create a thesis in our senior year. I believe that this will be very beneficial in that it will make us well rounded in our subjects of study. It will prove to our peers and future employers that we are educated in our fields and prepared to start working in the real world.

UW-Eau Claire is an important school to me because of your great educational programs. Through my life I have switched the idea of what I wanted to do plenty of times. However, one idea always remained. I always wanted to be a teacher, and work with kids and be able to shape and work with the next generation of students. This past fall semester I have been taking a college course at UWGB through Bay Port.

Attending community college was the fiscally responsible move for me after high school graduation. The two years I have spent at Itawamba Community College has given me the experience to take the next step towards my career goals; attending and graduating from a university.
Ready (or Not) for College The week before Eastern Kentucky University started, I found myself being appreciative for the people and experiences that God had placed in my life to prepare me for this stage in life. Last year, I did not want to take a gap year but after my parents persistent and reasoning I decided it would be better follow their advice. Now I am extremely grateful that I did take a year off as it would 've been very overwhelming, especially with moving from overseas, adapting to the new environment while working and attending school.
