Cosmological theories have been proposed by different persons in the history as they try to make sense of the universe. Cosmology is a form of religion or a belief that has existed, however there are other several believes that human beings have been putting across to help explain the nature of the universe. Cosmology refers to the study of origin of universe. Origin of universe has been proposed by several theories as dictated by historical facts. Our interest is the religious cosmology, which is composed of beliefs that are based on creation stories. On the other hand, transcendence describes the aspect of God`s nature, a supernatural being who is beyond all the laws we know of. These two religions have many outstanding features that are same and also others that are different from each religious perspective. The similarities and the differences are as well identified in this paper so as to bring out the exact comparison between the primal cosmological form of religion and the archaic form of religion. There are several theories that have been put across to explain the ideas behind some religious beliefs. These ideas are based on the simple ways of life of people from different cultural backgrounds and religious beliefs. Archaic religious view of religion demonstrates mythical issues more fully and therefore believes that the world is unified into a common thing. The archaic religion therefore entails sacrificial worship that involves communication in worship. There are many differences that exist between these two religions. The two cultures of the two cosmological religions revolve around similar cosmological ideas however their cultural differences are quite evident. The primal form of religion for instance believes in the existence of ultimate reality and existence of a chosen religious figure they refer to as shaman.
