Derrick Guide is a luxury realtor who's been suspected of using his business as a front for organized crime. Most recently, he was charged with attempted murder. He was pardoned from prison after saving the warden from a violent inmate. All of his former wives accused him of abuse. Derrick has an infant daughter, Isabelle, with fellow realtor Caroline Cameron, who's also been investigated for underground criminal activity. She served a brief prison sentence for forgery. Derrick and Caroline aren't a couple anymore and are in a custody battle over Isabelle. The case has intensified, as their respective adult children from previous relationships have petitioned for Isabelle. William is Derrick's adopted son, and Caroline's former lover. Derrick is a thug and wife-beater, and everyone in town knows he's not a legitimate realtor. However, he was never arrested for organized crime, so maybe he's not what he's said to be. After all, he saved the warden when he didn't have to. Who knows if his wives were telling the truth. Even if they were, a wife-beater isn't guaranteed to hurt a child. William's injury was just an accident. Speaking of William, his petition is obviously a heartbreak revenge ploy; he's too young to be with Caroline anyway. Then again, that had to be a tough experience for him. William has the means to raise Isabelle; those Taylors are a fine family. They've contributed so much to the town. The new Taylor Recreation Center is wonderful. Although, William doesn't have much legal ground; he's not related to Isabelle and changed his name. Courts feel that children should be with women, but Sophia clearly isn't bright; not a bright crayon at all. Plus, she's a criminal like her mother. If Derrick is guilty of all he's been accused, Caroline was likely brainwashed by him. She wasn't in tribulation before him. Besides, most people think attempted murder is more severe than forgery. Poor little Isabelle; such terrible

The court cases Goldberg and Wheeler do not stand for the proposition that only welfare benefits for people in extreme circumstances are entitled to pre-termination hearings. However, this is one situation where cutting off benefits with little or no notice could affect the well-being of the family or person. Any programs that offer they type of assistance people rely on to survive could benefit from pre-termination hearings, not just the welfare program. Welfare is one of the main public assistance programs, although I think housing assistance and food stamps might fall into the welfare category, they are also in need of a pre-termination hearing. In the Goldberg and Wheeler cases, California and New York did not want to give anyone a hearing
Facts The Jury pronounced Duane Buck guilty in 1997 for his crimes consisting of the shooting and murder of his ex-girlfriend, Debra Gardner, and her friend Kenneth Butler including the assault and injury of his sister. In David Walker’s “Appeal”, David connected religion, colonization and history to instill pride in his fellow colored citizens to stand up against slavery and to show white Americans the cruelty they are inflicting upon people who are just as human as they are. He points out the flaws in slavery and the consequences that come along with those who support it. He does this by writing about slavery with Israel people being controlled by the Egyptians.
