Walter Palmer should be fined for killing Cecil because he has hidden proof of him killing Cecil for a month, he could have impact on other lions, and intentionally he shouldn’t have killed a lion for no reason. In Cecil the lion written by Matthew Drake Walter Palmer has putted his career in danger, due to killing a lion for no obvious reason. Walter is now having the law all over him for something that he should have not done. He should have to face in consequences of prison due to his actions. He has failed to obey the Lacey Act.
In The Wizard of Oz, a novel by L. Frank Baum and adapted into film directed by Victor Fleming, the fictional animal character, the Cowardly Lion, is in search of his lost courage and decides to join Dorothy, the Scarecrow, and the Tin Man on their journey to meet with the Wizard of Oz. While he thinks the only way to obtain courage is from the wizard, he unknowingly had it to begin with all this time. The Cowardly Lion believed he was born without any courage as he says ““Life is sad, believe me, Missy When you 're born to be a sissy, Without the vim and verve. But I could show my prowess -- Be a lion not a mou-ess.”

However the only person who had to deal with the pain was Hop-frog so its not really up to anyone but Hop-frog to say if it was a good idea or not. God only gives us one life to sacrifice a whole bunch of years because of some ignorant king isn’t the best way to live. There are many times in the story where Hop-frog asks the King politely and professionally to leave him alone, and the King just laughs and abuses him more. Hop-frog someday wanted to start a family and that would be next to impossible with the King still alive. “The ghost of wit isn’t well liked but once people got to know him they learned a lot” (Poe 10.)
We cannot say the same about the lion in the mosaic, as the second fair was ruined by man. In fact, we can only identify the hind limb, tail and thigh, which seem like remains of a lion. The third and last fair, the she-wolf, is eager and ferocious. Again, the she-wolf in the mosaic cannot be recognized as it is ruined, but, similarly to the lion, the hind limb is visible, which helped scholars identify it as that of a she-wolf. In both of the works, as historians say, the fairs represent lust, pride, and avarice.

Domestication is not something that happens in one or two generations: it takes hundreds or thousands of years (Lewis). ” Exotic pets have a specific environment and climate that they are supposed to adapt to instead of living as a caged animal inside of someone’s home.
If so, why? I think that there may be symbolism with the meaning of the names. This is because the name “Lennie” means “strong as a lion”. I think that this means that Lennie will not be able to control his strength throughout the book because his strength will be, “as strong as a lion”. There is symbolism with the name “George”, too.
Despite the fact that Leo puts this down to ‘wanting to be a man not an animal,’ in general life the idea of a lion is one associated with great masculinity and sexual prowess. Leo dismissal of associating himself with the lion could be related to the fact that his is an ignorant twelve year old who, possibly subconsciously, does not want identified with something symbolising masculinity and sexual prowess; they are traits he is uncomfortable and unsure
In this short fable, the animal kingdom is plagued by the Gods for their sins – at least, according to the lion who rules over his kingdom. The lion uses the power that he holds over his animal subjects in order to manipulate them into incriminating themselves, and ultimately spare him from potentially sacrificing himself for the good of his people. In this situation, the common belief that animals who possess human characteristics are esteemed individuals is challenged with the notion that human characteristics translates into power, which corrupts whatever it touches. This hybridity is different to that found in “The Dogs’ Colloquy”, as in that narrative animals possessing human characteristics is demonstrated in a positive light. In “The Animals Ill with the Plague,” animals possessing human characteristics are held in contempt – and yet, the same state of human-animal hybridity can be seen.
“Scouts’s Honor” by Avi is a realistic story about kids who go camping in a different state. In the begining, three nine year olds have to go camping in a different state. The have to do it to move up to the next level in boy scouts. Soon,they try to all be braver than the other kids that would probaly make them the leader. In the end they realize that they can’t do it because they are only nine years old and they are not being watched by a parent.
Forrest must deal with everyone calling him an idiot, throughout the book people call Forrest an idiot and he hates it. Everywhere he goes, he must deal with it when he goes to space the newspapers read “Woman, Ape and Idiot in Next U.S space effort”, “Girl, Goon, and Gorilla to Lift Off Today”, and “Up They Go-But Who’s in Charge?” (Groom, 2014. Pg. 110).
In the movie The Wizard of Oz, the Cowardly Lion was a very dynamic character, meaning he went through many changes through the duration of the movie. The first time that the group meets him, the Lion was growling at the lot and frightening them. The story shows that when Dorothy slapped the lion for scaring Toto, the Lion showed his Cowardice by crying and making a big deal out of nothing. He then was crying because he had no courage and that’s when the group invited the Cowardly LIon on their voyage to see the Wizard. This is the beginning of the Lion starting out as a full-blown coward.
