Crash i heard a big sound when something hit the floor! First of all my mom always told me and my sister that we should not hang off our beds but we never listened. Since it was a really cold outside because it snowed the day before so the snow was perfect, there was no footprints in the snow so it was nice white fluffy snow. It was so cold outside though so me and my sister could not go outside. “What do you want to do?” I asker her. “Want to go upstairs and play a game? She asked. We got really bored being inside all day! So we decided to make up a game. The game was to see who could hang upside down off the bunk beds the longest. While we hung upside down on the bed I could feel my face getting really hot. “Is your face getting really hot?” I asked. …show more content…
But my sister’s foot got caught. I tried to pull her up but she fell off the bed! After my sister fell I could hear she was crying. I got off the bed. “Are you ok?” I asked her. “No my arm really hurts it feels like 100 knives stabbed in it!”she responded. So my parents took her to the Doctor. She had a broken arm and I felt really bad for her but it was a really cool cast. Although through all of this we learned are lesson. She got it off a few weeks later but we never did that

Once the x rays were done, Dunaway and Mindi were then transferred into the waiting room to get results. The nurse came back with a big box, Mindi and her daughter had exchanged looks and Dunaway said, “This can’t be good.”
At approx 1:15 pm ON 8-29-16, I was sitting at my desk in my office with the door closed. I heard the raised voice of someone I didn 't recognize yelling repeatedly, "get your hands off me" and similar variations of the demand. I did not hear any other voices. I then opened the door and left my office to find Ofc Jaques searching a male black subject who was now found to be the source of the yelling. Ofc Jaques could be heard sternly but calmly giving orders for the subject to comply with his orders in order to be searched prior to being held in the nearby cell.

I broke my tibia, fibula and cracked my platelet in my ankle. My mom rushed me to a hospital where we waited two hours for me to be seen. After a while my mom got frustrated and very impatient she then helped me back into the car and rushed me to children’s hospital where they wheeled me to an emergency room and put me to sleep. They began to place my bones back into place.
Since I was so bored anything would appease me. I came upon my sister who was rummaging around under the covers. I, of course, did not think twice, and impulsively jumped right in. After a minute she jumped off, and I didn't realize. While under the covers I dropped off the bed not knowing, and landed right on my left arm, breaking it.
And yes, it was painful and I had to get stitches, but what was most painful of all, was the look of sheer disappointment on Casey’s face after I came home from the hospital. I wasn’t quite sure if she was mad that I ruined her party, so the only thing I thought to do was wallow in self pity and grovel. After that, she ignored my existence in the house for a solid three months. I tried my hardest to apologize, but she would not accept or even acknowledge it.
I was having so much fun with the cold wind on my cheeks and was laughing the whole way down until I got some snow in my eyes that limited my vision. I began to panic which kept me from hearing my mom saying, “ JUMP!!! JUMP!!! ” I was clueless to the fact that I was headed for a tree. Down the hill I went and straight into the tree.
In July of 1984, Jennifer Thompson, a 22-year-old college student, awoke around 3:00 a.m. to find someone in her apartment. When she asked who was there, a man jumped on her, pinned her arms to the side of her head, put a knife to her throat, and raped her. Despite her terror, she was determined to identify her rapist so he would pay for his crimes. Once her eyes adjusted to the dark, she used the light coming through her blinds and bedroom window, as well as her nightlight to see if he had any tattoos, scars, unusual jewelry, how he parted his hair, what he was wearing, and anything else that would be useful in identifying him. She made sure that when he allowed her to stand up she stood close to him so she could determine how tall he was.'
The ice cold snow melts onto my face, I laugh at myself and hope to god the people around me didn’t see that. No one was paying attention to me they all had this type of confidence and excitement to learn and grow. I stood back up and headed down the hill with all force, not knowing how to turn I abruptly put my snowboard on healedge and slammed to a stop. Little did I know I was already halfway down the hill.
This eye opening and staggering film directed by Paul Haggis (Crash 2004) portrays the collisions between the people of different ethnicities, races and cultures. Haggis bases the film in a city where most people have cars where most people have cars, Los Angeles, and where people rarely brush against or interact with one another unless there’s a situation that forces them to do so. It gathers the lives of those with completely different backgrounds that intersect with each other in the span of 36 hours. Paul Haggis is to be applauded for taking audiences on a rollercoaster of emotions from the start of the film to the very end. The characters in the film are hidden behind metal and glass where no one in LA even touches or brushes past you.
Snowfall is a pretty sight, the world is still; no movement, even the air stays still. When you look up at the cloudy gray sky and see the snowflakes fall they float down in a graceful path that would make ballerinas look clumsy. It 's a euphoric moment almost, the kid inside you wakes up and without thinking everyones impulsive habit is to scream “It 's snowing!” and raise their hands to the sky asking for more. In this case, I wanted less snow.
I was never a fan of flying. It’s not that I’m afraid of heights or anything, it’s just the idea of flying. Launching up into the sky, by an airplane specifically, is quite scary, if you think about it. Just imagine every possible way something could go wrong. The plane could get stuck in a storm and crash.
