Creativity plays a central role in stimulating economic growth in cities, regions and advanced capitalist economies in general (Stam, Jong & Marlet, 2008). However, the development of a nation does not solely depend on the improvement of the nation’s economy but also on the improvement of the total well-being of the citizens; emotionally, physically, socially, mentally and spiritually. The various sub-fields of creative arts play an important role in improving the total well-being of citizens of a nation. After all, it is impossible to develop a nation without the individuals or citizens. This paper seeks to prove that creative arts are the anchor of national development.
Creative arts as stated earlier has various sub-fields and these are;

These employment avenues create means for individuals and organizations to contribute to national development by paying taxes or income to the government. The architects, the artists, the actors, sculptors, film and music industries, photographers, etc., are individuals who contribute to the economy of the country. Considering the wide range of employers in the creative arts field, there is no doubt that more contribution made to the economy of a country comes from the creative arts sector.
According to the International Confederation of Societies of Authors and Composers(CISAC), 2015):

In science and engineering, you get to think outside the box and make your own inventions. This field has the highest paying professions in the world. This means they contribute immensely to the revenue gained by the government. In the health sector, individuals are catered for so they can remain healthy and also release any stress they have. This sector also has high-paying professionals who contribute to the economy of a country. However, in these two sectors, I have mentioned, the various fields of creative arts are being applied in them. Let us take Computer science for example. In trying to solve world problems, algorithms are used. Different codes can be used to solve one problem and yet they differ. This is basically because of creativity; how one is able to think differently from another. Some website developers are able to perform better than others not because the other people’s website does not solve the problem but it based on how creative they are. This
In conclusion, not only does she effectively contribute to the conversation regarding the decline of creativity and why it happens, but through her efficient usage of ethos, logos, pathos, and kairos, Manoush Zomorodi gives a thoroughly convincing presentation. Weaving these together creates a favorable argument for why taking time to set aside electronic devices boosts creativity. Overall, Zomorodi created a compelling argument that not only convinces her intended audience, but also those who may have initially disagreed with her.
It is natural of people to pursue what has been identified to them as important and what they find interesting. However, it is impossible to know what the future holds and where importance will be placed and interest held in the coming years of the technological revolution. Therefore, there is no guarantee that when a significant amount of jobs are taken over by technology, there will be a rise of jobs in the arts and humanities. If there is no sense of importance or interest in the arts and humanities, there will likely be another solution that will flourish from the circumstances. There is an infinite number of ideas that have yet to be conceived, and one of them may be an concept, philosophy, or invention that may generate new types of careers, letting there be an option other than the arts and humanities for the
“Behind every great fortune is a crime.” The nature of the world we live in and the art industry are complex. Being an artist is a tough job. Well-known artists usually get a lot of media attention on any regular basis while some up-and-coming artists, get little or no such attention. Therefore, artist are always competing among themselves to come up with the best work to captivate people, stay on top, make a name for themselves and also a living allowance.
A key feature being the creative abilities taught to liberal art students which is due to the wide variety of liberal art courses teaching and enhancing observational, critical and problem-solving skills a liberal arts degree is not only deemed practical but also beneficial. “Liberal-arts colleges are now engaging with the ‘digital humanities’ Simply put, that means we are producing history and music majors who are as good at working with technology as they are at developing research projects and performing on stage” (Pannapacker, 2013). Such as the example of design majors who need to learn as much about working with technology as they need to improve their artistic talent and
These artists are property of their corporate entities. Such entities do not have the goal of entertainment, but rather, profit. “All ‘light’ and pleasant art has become illusory and mendacious” (Adorno 274). The music industry, according to Adorno, is essentially a façade. The music itself becomes a front for the profit driven production companies, and, as such, a mere product of the capitalist
In the healthcare field, there are so many occupations to choose from. Occupations and careers and important milestones in life because they not only define so much about you, but they set what you are going to do the rest of your life. The healthcare field is a field of high interest to many people. One occupation of great interest is a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). An LPN is someone who works under registered nurses or physicians and takes care of sick, injured, or disabled patients.
Student’s name Professor’s Name Course Date Successful use of Rhetorical Strategies Introduction Ken Robinson delivers a TED talk on “schools kill creativity” filmed in February 2006. The talk aims to challenge the education system and the fact that it has little emphasis on the creativity of individuals. Robinson notes that children should not only be made to pursue their studies but also follow their passions and their interests which lie in their talents.
The amount of money that’s made depends mostly on the location of the job and the participants level of education. Other jobs like, forensic accountants, engineers, and attorneys have the highest paying salaries in the field of
Have you ever heard someone say ‘music is a universal language’? A language that, regardless of what country you’re from, one that you can communicate with someone from the other side of the planet. And yet, people nowadays seem to completely disregard the music industry, even though music itself is therapy for many people, and one of the greatest forms of entertainment. A quote-unquote sensible person would say the music industry is ‘oversupplied, undercompensated’ and that ‘the ability to earn a living is not strictly correlated with talent, qualifications or ability.’ Many people believe you cannot merge a passion and a job together, as they are supposedly two different things.
Creativity is an important skill that everyone should use continuously. In the short story, The Cat in the Hat, it shows two kids who are home alone and don't have the creativity to think of something to do, until the Cat in the Hat shows up and presents his creative thoughts on having fun. In the article, "Why Nurturing Creativity in Kids is so Important", explains to us about how creativity is needed in everyday life and why everyone should be encouraged to use it. The text’s The Cat in the Hat and "Why Nurturing Creativity in Kids is so Important", prove that in order for a person to be creative minded, creative thinking must be encouraged.
The lack of arts integration is preventing an increased knowledge and skill of multiple content areas. Art integration elevates learning by linking disciplines while developing related skills and deeper understanding of the arts. Arts integration creates a level of personal connection and insight through a creative, inquiry-based process that would not be obtained using a single-discipline
Those ideas may be seen in their daily life or even in work. Creativity is a requirement for several well-paid jobs like physicist, music, drama teacher, or astronomer, therefore being creative helps the children a lot in getting a pleasing job. (Loudenback, 2016) A
The painter, the photographer, and the sculptor create their joy as if they are a child with a box of crayons. Forged in creativity, their piece growing closer to their heart and the viewers. Art heals, art helps, and art teaches. Without it, we are not human but with it, we can create galaxies. Art’s beneficial impact on communities is evident through effective health treatment, adaptive education, and economic gain.
It is important to study something in school that you enjoy but that is also useful in the real world. I have always been asked, “what's your major?”. I would answer art history and always got a response like, “what are you going to do with that?”. Most parents and students don’t feel that there is a good foundation from learning Art History. It is often heard from high school and college students (influenced by their parents) that to succeed you must major in science, technology, engineering, or business.
Next, creativity is the driving force of the economy, usually in the form of digital and mobile
