“A Madea Halloween” movie will be funny, scary, and dramatic. I believe people should go watch this movie because Tyler Perry has a background for making funny and dramatic movies. In the past, he has produced dramatic movies like Madea’s Big Happy Family and Diary of a Mad Black Woman. From the commercial preview, the movie “A Madea Halloween” will be funny because of Madea's funny voice along with her other great character skills that make an audience laugh. Madea persuaded me that the movie would be funny by knocking the clown out on the T.V.
The Atlantic goes on to say that, “the Ugly Christmas Sweater is awesome in its terribleness, and is a blissfully demilitarized zone.” National ugly Christmas Sweater day on December 15th every year, but has only gotten popular recently worldwide in 2015. The Ugly Christmas Sweater originated in Vancouver, Canada in 2001. Now in terms of the Ugly Christmas Sweater being a festive simulation, it for some may give a false sense of happiness during this time of year. George Ritzer says that simulation can become a ripe target for corporatization as it can be made more spectacular than its authentic counterparts. What they are saying is that this is not necessarily the real deal for all and that it is fake for many.
Even though both are great stories, but there are still occasional differences. In both versions of A Christmas Carl three ghosts known as Past, Present, and Future attempt and succeed in changing Scrooge’s life for the better.Scrooge becomes one of the jolliest people in town after that Christmas Eve night (movie 1984) even though in the drama it’s hard to clarify that he is. In the movie there’s also more of an emphasis on Scrooge’s earlier life(movie 1984). Overall this movie is very much like the drama by Charles Dickens
This argument might be valid because this this spirit made him show a plethora of emotions and sob. However, the past this ghost showed can not be changed. Stave 5 shows the change of all the things shown and predicted by the Ghost of Christmas Present. Instead of dying, Tiny Tim will get the best doctors because of Cratchit’s raise. The Cratchit’s would have a big dinner instead of a tiny one, and Scrooge would go to Fred’s party and not be the center of mockery (Dickens 39-40) (Dickens 66-68).
After watching the recording version of Shrek the Musical, I consider that it is a successful production if the purpose of this musical is to amuse audiences and bring them an enduring audio-visual feast. As a musical that is created based on a blockbuster, the basic story framework is without novelty – an ugly but kind-hearted ogre experiences lots of dangers with a friend, saves the princess like a hero and wins her heart in the end. However, I have to admit that Shrek the Musical does a fantastic job to convert a movie into a Broadway show, considering the high level of complexity and difficulty for a team to humanize animated characters and imitate scenes. There are a lot of details, including Pinocchio’s growing nose, in the musical that show off the elaboration. Undoubtedly, the scenery is one of the brightest spots in this musical.
The eyes are what really pulls the entire getup together. Number Two: Jaws of Death. This makeup trick was discovered before Halloween of this year, but Spakman pulls it off effortlessly here. The model is both jaw-droppingly scary and gorgeous. Number One: Mesmer-Eye-Zing.
In my opinion I believe that The Nightmare Before Christmas is more a Halloween movie. This statement proves to show that in this movie more characters shown/introduced are monsters that live in Halloween Town such as Werewolves, Vampires, Skeletons. What about when the director of this film specifically had the movie come out in October. In the end of this movie the main character Jack Skelington decided he was the pumpkin king and was happy for his holiday, Pumpkins are apart of Halloween.
In the article “My Zombie, Myself: Why Modern Life Feels Rather Undead,” Chuck Klosterman explains how everyday life is like zombies and why they are so popular. Zombies are experiencing an up rise in popularity because they are being used in video games and television shows such as “The Walking Dead”. Zombies are becoming more interesting to watch because any kind of sound or smell of a living human draws their attention. For example, the sound of shooting one zombie attracts others zombies to the person doing the shooting. Zombies are becoming more popular because the audience are able to relate to them in numerous ways.
Dr. Rebecca Williams writes on how zombies recently have risen up beside vampires and have “shuffled onto center stage”; zombies have become more common in various forms of media than ever before. Vampires for the longest time seemed to be more popular, attractive, and interesting; this comparison to zombies with their lack of knowledge, communications skills etc., made it seem unrealistic to be able to compare the two creatures accurately. Vampires were clearly more appealing in many ways, and zombies seemed to lack those interesting characteristics. Zombies represent boundary crossing, but in its own original form, which in a way makes it unique from any other monster. This characteristic makes zombies more dangerous and threatening.
Zack was taking it way too literally as he always did. He was coming up with elaborate conspiracies about the people in the haunted house, and the haunted house itself. It was a long wait for the house, but all of Zack’s talking and excitement filled up that time well. I just was feeling good about myself, and thinking about how this haunted house wouldn’t be scary at all. It was a cool, crisp night, but I couldn’t feel it.
