The power station was heavily guarded, three snorpians and nine servants were there at all times. Brock had so far failed to get close enough to it to determine how it worked, but from what he could see he doubted it had been built on Morpheus. The only thing he knew for certain, was that it was the sole source of power for the barrier and the stunners the snorpians carried. He had deduced that the power that it produced was limited, there were no lights or other powered equipment in the entire compound. A snorpian walked up behind him and said, “Nothing to do human?” Brock jumped and turned to face the creature. “I've completed my assigned tasks for the day sir.” “What's your name human?” “Badger sir.” “Come with me Badger.” Brock followed …show more content…
Brock lied, “Yesterday sir.” “Good.” The snorpian handed him a small device with a hose on it. “See that machinery over there Badger. This small device is used to remove accumulated dust particles.” The snorpian flipped a switch on the device and it began purring and Brock jumped and tried to hand it back to the snorpian. The snorpian took it back and shook his head, “Primitives, the least little unfamiliar thing and you're frightened. It won't hurt you, watch.” The snorpian sucked a cobweb out of the corner of the room with the end of the hose and handed it back to Brock. “Take it over there to the power station and use it to clean up all the dust, dirt and cobwebs you can find. Do you understand?” “Yes sir, I'll get right on it then sir.” Brock answered. Providence had smiled upon Brock, he was able to explore every nook and cranny of the power station. His best guess was that it was powered by some sort nuclear ion cells, now if he could just figure out how to sabotage it beyond repair, he could take down the force field and limit their stunners to the power stored in the devices themselves. He moved over to what he perceived to be the control panel and began to suck up the

The man gazed at Herivus before relaxing his stance. “No need to apologize, boy. Get ready. We’ll leave in a while” “Father, why must we keep going? If the Dragans attempt anything funny, the alarms will blare in time enough for the Legions to battle”
Ann looked at the bush in question, found rotten leaves and started pulling them out. Some of the soggy debris splashed on Tizbeth’s hand. In retaliation, Tizbeth tossed dirt at Ann. She saw Ann wrap her fist around a clump of mud.

Despite the fact that the immediate current (DC) Edison championed was less hazardous to handle, it could achieve just a one-mile range from a force station. o
Brock eyed the soldier up carefully before he extended his hand in return, “Call me Brock, I think we can safely dispense with the formalities Perseus.” Longflame landed beside them and Brock said, “This is my friend Longflame, he's a dragon. Shhh." He was next to it now, looking down at it. It was tied to a chair in silver chains. It'd woken up from a night of being a wolf like it. Kaden had spent the full moon watching it, waiting for it to turn human again, and then he was ready.
