Whenever a major engineering task is attempted, the idea of it always has the people that hear about shocked in awe. It is interesting because every time since the beginning of human kind, the response is the same, which is, this is going to be the next big thing that will put us into the future. A fact that is largely overlooked when it comes to these huge engineering tasks is whether or not the idea will actually work. This was the case back in 1995 with the Denver International Airport, fully automatic baggage claim system. It was a great idea on paper, but when it came time to build it, they realized that they should have put a lot more thought into it. When Obamacare launched in October of 2013, it was the same

In a system this complicated, the testing should not be left until the end, if they had done testing after each component was built, they would have quickly figured out that, some corners were too sharp, and some inclines were to steep, and the software did not have fail safe systems fully implemented to prevent a disaster.
Ultimately they paid the price, as the system was scrapped completely in 2005, because they main backer, United Airlines, refused to pay $1 million every month for a system that didn’t even do its job. It is one of the largest engineering fails, and the flaws in the end were so big, that it was cheaper to just scrap the system instead of trying to re engineer it to work as it should, and it all comes down to listening to the people that tell you that it is not a smart idea, with tons of evidence, this disaster could have been avoided, but they decided to pursue a very difficult task with a low success rate, and they failed, and there is a lot about modern engineering that can be learnt from
The Affordable Care Act has been a positive reinforcement that the health care system needed. The quality of life in regard to health care has increased in a good way. Therefore, with easy access and low cost to hospital facilities have provided more transparent relationships with patients. The Affordable Care Act has provided individuals the opportunity to take accountability for their own health. I believe the Affordable Care Act is one of the most successful laws that was created.
HCPCS level 1 uses CPT codes to identify medical services & procedures level 2 is used to identify the products, supplies, and services that are not in CPT codes ICD-10 used for diagnosis and in patient procedures There 's so many different types of services and procedures within the medical field that different codes are needed to specifically identify them properly. Coding was created to make medical billing simple. Proper coding will ensure accurate and timely reimbursements.

The article “The Ground is Shifting Under Obamacare” by Scott Rasmussen is very insightful and explains the flaws of Obamacare as a whole. I believe that Obamacare was not as successful as it should have been and he explains that it is not logical to expect everyone to want the same full coverage health care with the same expensive premiums. “The reality is that there is no one-size-fits-all solution to health insurance. Different people have different needs and preferences.” This section of the article really helped me understand what he meant, when explaining why Obamacare didn’t and never will work.
The Affordable Heatlhcare Act’s ideal change should be to a privately owned system giving the people more control over our own health care. Ted Cruz made the statement that Obamacare, which got us into
It worked out in the end for everyone, not much changed, but the exchanges. People are entitled to have their own opinions. Some people cannot afford health insurance and the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act has truly helped with this problem. So, the Supreme Court’s decision is fair and kind. There are certain coverage and tax credit requirements to be eligible for Obama Care.
In reviewing “Political Irony” there were three keys points regarding reviews of Obamacare that left me confused as well as lost in its benefits. It appeared that the Obamacare provides an incomplete explanation of it benefits to the public. Although are some advantage to the people who has preexisting conditions and the people who had no insurance, yet it did not appear that much progress have been given to the people that could cannot afford to pay for health care. The Obamacare provides an incomplete explanation of it benefits to the public, it does not give details of the benefit of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.
The affordable care act is a United States statue signed into law by President Obama in March of 2010. It represents the most significant improvement to the U.S. healthcare system since 1965 with the addition of Medicare and Medicaid. Also known and commonly referred to as Obamacare, it was enacted to increase the affordability and quality of health insurance, diminish the rate of the uninsured by expanding public and private insurance coverage while reducing the cost of healthcare for individuals and the government. This law will require Hospitals and doctors to reconstruct financial practices along side with technologically and clinically to advance better outcomes, reduce cost and improve methods of accessibility.
President Obama spoke to the American people that government run health care with higher taxation, larger prices, and letting the insurance agencies operate with little to no rules were “wrong”. It was to improve and provide all Americans with affordable health care and easier access to doctors and medical care and offer subsidies
The origin of the plan also had a lot of political foes in the Congress since it was seen as being too liberal for the conservatives and also at the same time too conservative for the liberals. At the same time, the administration was faced with several domestic scandals as well as foreign-policy crises that were a distraction and, therefore, damaging the efforts of lobbying for the reform. The whole reform subsequently hit a deadlock when the administration ran into a political quagmire, and a lack of a fallback strategy meant everything fell apart. In most cases public policy “ are made by well-intentioned political leaders forced into so many compromises that the resulting policy bears little resemblance to the original proposal” (Cochran & Malone, 2010, p.23). But it was not only the Clinton administration failed in its attempt to pass the bill with previous presidents also witnessing the failures including Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman, and Richard Nixon.
The benefits it provided were realized after 2014. Obamacare closed the Medicare “doughnut hole.” one that Bush had
Obamacare was supposed to help businesses grow and save money, but now it is making it harder for business owners to have a successful business because of all the extra unnecessary fees that were
The affordable care act, also known as Obama care has been working in America. The plan is far from perfect and will not cover every American who is need of care, but it made a dramatic impact on the state of health care in America. It has made the system better because it has put more money into doctors and hospitals and it has also allowed more people to get covered by health insurance plans. The quality of care his seen an increase in the quality of care, according to the publishers of The Affordable Care act is Working (2015) state that since 2011 there has been an improvement in patient safety and the number of hospital readmissions for avoidable cases has been reduced. This is related to fact that more people are covered; since the act can have
What does it do for me? Is it expensive? Will I be approved? ObamaCare or PPACA, was signed in to law to reform (make changes to improve) the healthcare industry by President Obama, March 23, 2010. This was upheld by the Supreme Court on June 28, 2012.
