As like in this event also it can be happen, as a manager I should aware of the problems what probably going happen and the ways to solve it. In this “International Food Fiesta” there will be a major cultural diversity, the conflict comes mainly from cultural diversity. Different cultural background people, language problem, and time management from this only the problem might create. To avoid the language problem I can use staff members who knows multi languages so that I can reduce the problem. In western countries the people can smoke in the public but in Sri Lanka you cannot do it. If a person avoid that barrier and do smoke we can warn him, sometimes they take it that we too strict with them. So there is a way to convince them and show a right place to smoke. Chinese always maintain the time, so we also should be like them. Otherwise they will disappoint with our culture and it can be affect us in the future
Our biggest event was when we hosted a carnival for our school’s Yo-Hi Day (end of the year field day event). We hosted a variety of different activities for students to do such as a joust-stick battle, a bouncy house obstacle course, a dunk tank, and more. The day of the event was the easiest to manage, but the process of making it happen was a challenge. I’ve realized that a lot of things goes on behind the scenes, and sometimes people are not aware of that because what they see are the results. A lot of things happened during the process like; making sure all the supplies came in on time, figuring out the quantity and the type of food we should get for the snack bar, who is available to supervise each activity, and what’s plan B if the snow
The Great American Smokeout event represents a time when I had to formulate and advocate for a policy. This
Introduction It is very important for Health programs to reach out and be able to help all sorts of different kinds of people, which are being affected by an illness or disease. Programs that know about individuals and their culture will benefit greatly, when knowing the background of their culture and why they may struggle with such problems in their health. I found two programs that are working for the people, the programs had to be beneficial with the certain cultures of people they are trying to reach out to. For one of the programs I decided to talk about was the, Black Women’s Health Impetrative and its interactions to help inform African American women the signs of Cardiovascular disease.

In my opinion and If I had a say in the banning of smoking, I would not ban it. No one is forced into smoking. It is a person’s own decision in which they decide to light up that cigarette. I do believe that there should be delegated smoking areas not only in some locations, but mostly everywhere. But having to do with making smoking illegal, I believe smoking should be legal.
Hispanic and American Food Traditions The type of food that we eat is influenced by the countries and people that were once settled down in the land that we live on. Those from the past generation help influenced the way that we live and the food that we eat. The Food Industry The food industry is the worldwide diversified industry which has to do with anything relevant with food from food education to marketing but principally the industry produces and or provides food to essentially all people on the planet. The only people who are excluded from the food industry are self-sustaining farmers and hunter-gatherers. It is one of the largest industries in the world and continues to grow because people need food and the population is increasing every day. In America, the food industry possesses such an important role, yet there are so many problems within the industry which is ruining the society as we know it.
Culture and memories are expressed through food. Everyone can identify themselves with a concrete culture and in every group there are numerous food dishes that satisfies one, or brings back peerless memories and feelings only they can relate to. Food itself has meaning attached to it, from the way it is prepared down to the ingredients used. Factors that influence food can be anything from practices and beliefs to the economy and distribution. Culinary traditions are important in helping express cultural identity.
Everyday food Abstract The article discusses the role of food as an instrument of identity and a channel of contact through cultures. This is discussed drawing from three cases of Italian food culture hybridization spanning from the early 20th century to the first decade of the 2000s: the role of Italian food in Italian-American identity as depicted in Leonardo Coviello’s work; the meeting of Southern and Northern food cultures following the Italian internal migrations in the ‘50s and ‘60s; the food practices of international migrants in the context of the global flows of people and commodities in present day Italy. In this regard, food plays an essential role in the rebuilding of a familiar context in which migrants can feel temporarily
Until the 1980s, ethnic restaurants constituted 10 percent of all restaurants in the Netherlands (statistics, 1998). In the past decade, ethnic foods have become extensively available and increasingly popular in Dutch consumer food markets (Iqbal, 1996). The growing cultural diversity of the Netherland is certainly influencing Dutch's taste for ethnic foods. However, there is a distinct fewness of information on the popularity and acceptance of Asian food. 1.2.2 Asian food trends in Rotterdam It cannot be denied that the Netherlands has experienced a huge change in daily eating habits compared to the past.
Based on my data for my daily intake of foods, I would say that I live a pretty healthy life. I went over the food groups and calories, nutrients, food details and meal summary of my food diary and I thought it was interesting to look at all the little details of the different foods I ate throughout the day for breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. If I had to set 5 goals to improve my nutrition in what I eat and how I keep myself healthy I would have to say for the first one, exercise more, the second one choose healthier meal options, third one eat more throughout the day, fourth one choose healthier snacks, and for the last one do not eat when bored. I try to exercise as much as I can when I have free time, but it is sometimes hard to find some free time.
