Creativity and innovation viewpoints vary across countries. Some countries are more innovative than others. Some are good in specific fields such as in technology while others try to be innovative in different fields such as in technology, construction, and health. The culture in a specific state affects creativity and innovation levels in that state. National culture influences innovation and creativity because it determines the values that get priority in the workplace. Culture shapes the development o a country and the areas they do best at. National culture distinguishes citizen of one country or group from a citizen of individuals from others. A society that supports masculinity has high priority for assertiveness, achievement, material rewards and heroism which comes from success and as a result, there is competition. Countries that support femininity give priority t cooperation, caring for others, helping the weak, and modesty. Femininity society is driven by agreements they make as a community as opposed to individual initiatives. America is more masculine, and people here focus on personal achievement rather than the welfare and quality of life for the community. Americans show their masculinity immediately while the British avoid showing their masculinity despite them being a masculine society. The Americans lie being sure of what the future holds for them hence they will react to uncertainties instantly. The Americans teach their children to follow masculinity from a young age starting from the time they go to school. They are told to strive to be the best and winners are given rewards. Even at work, those people who do well are proud of their work and do not fear telling others about their success. People get creative to survive the competition. People in the United Kingdom also follow masculinity although they have a culture of understatement and modesty. People living in the two countries use innovation to become successful although the Americans show it instantly while British maintain
