Curry tree (Murraya koenigii) Is native to India and Sri-Lanka, which grows in tropical and subtropical
Areas. These leaves most commonly occupy the kitchens of India, Sri-Lanka and neighboring countries.
Since this is used in curries it is called curry leaves. It has a beautiful aroma that adds taste to almost all the food. It is a small tree growing 3m to 6m.
The leaves are highly Indian cooking, and Sri Lankan cooking especially in curries, usually fried along with the chopped onion in the first stage of the preparation They are also used to make many other delicious dishes.
