INTRODUCTION

In todays era of technology, internet is one of the biggest discovey. Internet is readily available for everyone in computer shops and for some, in their homes. You can also have acces to the Internet once you have a cellular phone, which is also one of the “must have” in our era. In addition to using the Internet for personal use, it has become a nearly indespensable tool used in business, education, government, and in the entertainment world (Shannon, 2009). Indeed, internet has become a big part of millions of adults' daily lives.It is also true that it too, has it become a part of the lives of chilren. In 2001, it was estimated that 17 milllion of the youth between the ages of 12 and 17 used the internet (Lenhart, …show more content…

The term shall also include any conduct resulting to harassment, intimidation, or humiliation, through the use of other forms of technology, such as, but not limited to texting, email, instant messagig chatting, internet, social media, online games, or other platforms or formats.
Cyberbullying as defined by (Smith, et al, 2007) as “An aggressive, intentional act carried out by a group or individual, usig electronic form of contact, reately and over ime against a victim who cannot easily defend him or herself”.

Types of Cyberbullying Here are few common types of cyberlullying according to ETCB (End to Cyber Bullying Organization)
1. Harassment It involves the bully sending offensive and malicious messages to an individual or a group and is often repeated multiple times. Cyberstalking is one form of harassment that involves continual threatening and rude messages, and can lead to physical harassment in the real, offline world.
2. Flaming Flaming is similar to harassment, but it refers to an online fight exchanged via emails, instant messaging or chat rooms. It is a type of public bullying that often directs harsh languages, or images to a specific
