The day that I was hired as a physical therapy aide made me feel that I was one step closer to achieving my goal. After hours of volunteering, the owner of the clinic saw that I had something valuable to offer. The feeling of accomplishment surged through me as I was able to guide these patients through their exercise programs. This brought me closer to the patients, and I was able to see the improvements I have facilitated to bring about. I was told that one will find the happiest people in therapy, and this was definitely true whenever I entered the rehabilitation centers.
It has given me more confidence in delivering care and enlightened me to always support patients as individuals. I have grasped a competent understanding of the benefits of reflecting on practice and will endeavour to reflect on all my practice placements in the
As long as I can help them achieve their goals and I can be there every step of the way through their rehabilitation and learning process, then that is all that matters to me. I have noticed that those smiles, perseverance, and helpfulness that I can see in others is the best unspoken reward I could ever ask for and that is why I will never stop my desire of becoming a Physical Therapist. Through obtaining countless observation hours and shadowing many of aspects of Physical Therapy such as in-patient, out-patient, neurological, geriatrics, sports injuries, I have been able to understand how much of the role of therapists play in that patients lives. I was able to gain the knowledge that increasing the amount of movement and exercise one does, how much it can change their life and how much of an impact it can have on mine.
After extensive research, I decided on that job being a Physical Therapist Assistant. A Physical Therapist Assistant is one job that I feel is often looked over by many. It is a crucial job in the health-field, and one that plays a pivotal role in assuring successful therapeutic rehabilitation of a patient in need. Witnessing one being able to walk with my assistance through therapy after a surgery, or seeing a child being able to play a sport again after therapy would be truly extraordinary.
I have a variety of characteristics that embodies the National Honors Society values of scholarship, leadership, service, and character; these qualities are what makes me an effective member of society and a benefit to our community. As a new addition to NHS, I would vow to stand by my fellow classmates and help them reach their full potential. A capable leader needs to look after those around them, and I would dedicate myself to listening and helping others feel cared for and supported. This trait, paired with being patient and open-minded, also proves that I can work productively and comfortably in a team. However, I also do well on my own.
Nursing, a job that not only helps people, but touches their lives. I have wanted to become a nurse since I was 5 years old. Children always say what they want to be when they are little, but eventually change their minds. It has been 11 years since I decided my career, and I still have not changed my mind. I was lured into the nursing field because of the care nurses have towards their patients, it is more than a job.
My experiences and strong loving family have instilled these qualities in me. I am looking forward to an Internal Medicine residency program that will expose me to the highest standards of clinical experience and provide me with the expertise needed in Internal Medicine. It would be a great learning experience if I get exposed to colleagues and patients from different social, economic and cultural backgrounds. Such an environment can help in the exchange of knowledge and ideas. I am seeking this program because it can fulfil my above mentioned academic interests in a friendly atmosphere.
I can finally say, I MADE IT. And to the Lord Almighty, I owe everything to you. With this, I lift all of what I have achieved to you. Thank you for not leaving my side.
I believe the medical field is the best career choice for a kindhearted person such as myself. I feel like I should be selected because I love people, I am extremely interested in the medical field, and I already have a bit helpful experience. I am certainly a member of my school’s beta club, which means I have participated in many service projects. Serving others and helping them in any way I can is very satisfying to me. Also, I am extremely interested in pursuing a medical career, especially physical therapy.
Reflecting back on the last few weeks and all the work, preparation, and knowledge gained to be able to administer and assess my ELL students has been rewarding. I am grateful that I have a good team to work with that is accountable and reliable. We met every bump head on and stayed positive to accomplish each task. Hopefully, staying positive and motivating influenced my team to stay dedicated to completing the requirements. I have learned from past responsibilities and different co-workers that it is easy to get frustrated and negative.
What impressed me about Scribe America’s treatment was the work that went into cultivating a positive and enthusiastic work environment for the scribes and chief’s scribes. When I volunteered with the hospital concierge we could hear the team meeting and the enthusiasm that came from the leadership and the scribes.

Hope you had a wonderful New Year. I want to thank you once again for giving the opportunity to interview at St. Joseph’s Family Medicine Residency Program on September 29, 2015. I was very impressed how close-knit the program was and how smoothly the faculty and residents interacted.
I am grateful for having had the opportunity to learn and grow at Keystone in the addictions field. The staff has been patient and helpful as I have gained much knowledge as I worked through my master’s program. There are not words to express the gratitude I have for everyone and all that they have done for me this last year, not only, professionally, but also, personally through my journey at Keystone.
I have always been interested in a career in the care industry, and after meeting with an experienced occupational therapist, I was sure that occupational therapy is a career suited to my personality and abilities. I am excited by the diverse nature of the work and the effect that meaningful activity can have in helping individuals improve their quality of life and achieve personal goals. I am a sympathetic listener, open-minded and tolerant of others lifestyles and I think that along with my problem-solving skills, and desire to help people, the range of activities which I am skilled at and enjoy would greatly aid me in helping people to rehabilitate themselves. I look forward to attending ________ where I will learn the skills necessary to make a difference by helping people gain independence and increase confidence.
