Helping students understand better in the classroom by using the Daily Lesson Log of every teacher. Teachers need to motivate students how to learn. This provides the researchers an insight to enrich his/her investigation and understanding of the problem. Lesson study is an in school teacher education strategy consisting of pre-collaborative work among teachers, lesson observation, and post collaborative work (Lewis, 2000)

One example is that psychomotor skills of performance-based task among the students in their classes. A good lesson allows a valid and reliable criterion reference of performance. A lesson log is a printed set of guidelines that distinguishes performance or products of different quality.
According to Adorinda R. Monje-Sarmiento (2008), Evaluation is a primary part of the education process. The teacher should lead every experience in terms of the needs and interests of the students as seen in life situations. What kind of imagery comes to mind when the word savage its said aloud? What kind of connotation does you think drives this word? Primitive, barbarian, negligent? Because if so, it’s a perfect word that depicts what author Jonathan Kozol, in his book Savage Inequalities: Children in America’s School, is trying to portray about the United States School System. His book opens the eyes of the reader to the worse and best of what schooling in the U.S is.
Figure 1 is a summary of the students’ learning throughout the learning segment. I administrated this test as a pre-assessment prior to the lesson one and administered it again after the completion of lesson 3. This test is a compilation of students’ learning and it demonstration how they met the standards and objectives that were set out for them to achieve. The evaluation criteria in which this assessment and all other assessment in the individual lessons did was not altered. Even though the students have different learning needs, the assessment met all of the needs for all learners.
The lesson that is shown in the video clip is lesson plan number one. The first lesson is where the students will have the opportunity to focus on the theme and what to expect in the up coming days. There were some changes done in the video related to the lesson. The first one is not no students were in the video. The teacher will provide a demonstration on what she will do with the students.
The two stories, “The Lesson” and “Everyday Use” involve main characters that hold differences and similarities. In both stories the main characters were well educated, African American woman. During Toni Cade Bambara’s story “The Lesson”, the main character Miss Moore used her education to help the children in her hometown. Whereas in Alice Walker’s story “Everyday Use”, Wangero decided to use her education in a way that took things away from her family and past. Wangero could care less how her family was doing and entered their home like a fire taking everything in her wake.
One strategy that reinforces learning through collaboration is team teaching. In the classroom both teachers are positioned at the front of the classroom with different responsibilities. For example, one teacher may write notes, while the other delivers large group instruction. Through team teaching, both educators can bounce ideas off one another or show students two different methods of solving a problem. This strategy is most effective in a coteaching partnership emphasizing give and take.
Certainly this refers to teaching as well. A teacher is a lifelong learner, thus, by evaluating my teaching I would be able to recognize my strengths and weaknesses, and as a result become better at my profession. One of the aspects of evaluation is a Continuous Professional Development process (evidence 6), which ensures improving the vocational and subject knowledge continuously. One of the responsibilities would be abidance with regulatory requirements, legislation, policies and procedures, and codes of practice.
Most people struggle with figuring out who they really are. The short story "Everyday Use,” written by Alice Walker, emphasizes this aspect of individuality. It is about an African- American mother and her two daughters. The story concentrates on the lives of two sisters named Maggie and Dee(Wangero). Maggie is portrayed as a homely and ignorant girl, while Dee is portrayed as a beautiful and educated woman.
Additionally, the tasks need to be constructive and interlinked and provide a challenge to the students while also acting as a motivation factor. The adopting of effective teaching to match the personal strengths of the students ensures that a student’s learning outcome is achieved Holistic assessment should be encouraged to understand what the learner has captured on a learning
In the short stories we have read there have been numerous themes. The impact of tradition, the value of heritage, the importance of family, the divide between social classes, and the presence of love are all ideas that can be found in the stories we have read. Short stories have managed to encapture the importance and true meaning of life in just a few sentences by imposing on the readers themes we can all relate to. A common theme presented in Alice Walker’s “Everyday Use” and Toni Cade Bambara’s “The Lesson” is the power of knowledge and education. In “Everyday Use,” two sister Dee and Maggie have different views on how they should preserve and honor their heritage.
Four-day school weeks have the capability to change student lives. Every school should invest in the four-day school week plan. Implementing this routine would allow teachers more time to teach and give students the option to do their homework during class, in turn creating student success. All of these factors would help to enhance student and faculty life, while promoting success in the classroom. Having a school system run on a four-day rotation would increase their success by offering more opportunities for lesson and work time.
In a learning environment, teachers want to help students engage with what they are doing to promote deeper understanding" (Kohn, 1997c). The student-directed learning theory implies that the teacher should share the

The discussion is arranged on the basis of research question. It is my goal to make sure students are not just memorizing facts, but are actually understanding. They should be able to take the lesson and apply it to other areas of their lives. I believe students need to be assessed frequently and routinely. The students need accurate and effective feedback, so they can make any necessary adjustments.
Although the lesson plan’s primary objective is to improve the overall quality of teaching to benefit students, this also improves teacher motivation and development. This is achieved through using the lesson plan as a permanent record of lessons taught. In the case where the lesson has been
