I see a problem with this because although this could be the way to find the next Dali Lama it can be a bit inaccurate because what if a person picks the same object use by the previous Dali Lama but is not the reincarnation of the Buddha of compassion this person will be task to rule. The capacity to learn is a construct familiar to all animals and some plants, so what makes us so special? There is an advantage to trees being tall and supported by rigid and woody vascular systems. The advantage is simply that most plants grow towards the sunlight to ensure a constant rate of photosynthesis by avoiding obstruction. The tallest tree in the forest never gets outshined, or rather out shadowed, by other trees. Thus, over millions of years natural selection has allowed for coniferous trees to reach heights up to fifty feet, since most of the areas that they inhabit tend to be low on the ultra violet index.

This can also help serve with the moral I follow. With the teaching of Buddha, They are trying to reach enlightenment by doing the rights more than the wrongs. It sorta helps each other.

The most meaningful or should I say the reading that intrigued me the most in part one is that of Compassion written by The Dalai Lama. The statement “I think that every human being has an innate sense of “I” (The Dalai Lama.p.83) is what peaked an interest for me, I interpreted that to mean that at some point of time in life everyone thinks of themselves. People may naturally have a desire to seek happiness, obtaining a sense of peace that will make them happy within life. He goes on to say the fact that human beings are intelligent can in some ways hinder their happiness.

This very unusual form of Buddhism is an amalgamation of Mahayana ideas mixed with the original Tibetan ethnic religion, called Bön. She, along with Gampo’s other wife, Princes Bhrikuti of Nepal, convinced the king that a demoness was living under the Tibetan Plateau.
As a result of this strong connection to the beliefs evident in Tibetan Buddhism the ritual remains significant despite the adversities it has faced. The rising need for a strong economic status and ethical debates over the ritual has decreased the significance to the adherents; despite this the adherent is still connecting to the beliefs and teachings of the Buddha. This ritual provides the deceased with positive karmic merit as the burial rite is an ultimate act of compassion which assists them in becoming closer to being released from Samsara and reaching Nirvana. This is significant to the observer as it provides assurance and closure knowing that their loved one has ended their life with positive karma and will begin their next with that accumulation, being reborn closer to
In the essay, “ The Role of Religion in Modern Society”, Dalai Lama, The preeminent religious authority in Buddhism reveals the reason behind why religion has been a major source of conflict throughout the history, and how inter-religious harmony is the key to overcoming conflict of the first sort.
