A Dancer’s Life

To be a dancer, you got to be dedicated to you and your teammates, but with that comes the struggle to do the moves right and to learn the dances in time. That usually takes up your time right? So, what will happen if you are dedicated, but with that comes, “Dedication?” I think to be a dancer you have to overcome the pain and working hard.Then, comes time for competition, and it is your time to go on stage to do your audition, you have been working for your whole life and then it is time to show the judges what you got. But, what did you have to do to get to where you are now? When you entered this amazing, but the beautiful dance studio on 4th Avenue, Downtown in New York City(2014), there were these gentlemen ready to greet you, and we asked him if we could take a tour, around his beautiful astonishment of this dance studio, he replied,” Why, yes, just follow me right this way.” As, we toured around, we went into the first room, the dancers were doing “pointe,” they were wearing these white leotards with pink tights and they also their hair in a tight “ballerina,” bun. I told myself, “ I wish I could be like them, they are so beautiful.” I told my family, I want to be just like them.” As we were following the gentleman on his tour, I saw this audition paper and took a picture of it on my iPhone 6s. As we finished the tour, they had this restaurant, and I saw some of the dancers, so I asked the tour guide,” Can, I go talk to some of the dancers,” He replied, Of course.” So, I went to go talk to the dancers, as we sat down in this amazing and huge restaurant with red walls and wood flooring, they also had crystal tables with these red
