In the past there have been many amazing and inspiring speeches that people have read. One of the amazing speeches was called I Have a Dream read by Martin Luther King Jr. He shared with the world that everyone is equal no matter the color of their skin. Another great speech that had been spoke was by Colonel Joshua Lawrence Chamberlain during the Civil War before they had gone into the three day battle at Gettysburg. His speech was so amazing and he had such great traits that he ended up convincing 120 mutineers to go into battle with him.
They elected a man named William Bradford to be their leader for the rest of his life. They talk about god in their trip. “So they committed themselves to the will of god and resolved to proceed.” ( William Bradford 79). That means that they relied on god the whole trip. William Bradford was a humble person and kept accurate accounts of their voyage.
Proctor who is a straightforward, always went to church every week, successful man. Proctor had a house and worked very hard to provide for his family. John Proctor is well respected. Proctor is respected because he is independent and does a lot for the community and his family. John Proctor is like a leader, therefore he speaks his mind.
King Arthur is one of the best kings that has ruled over Britain, throughout all of history. Arthur ruled with honor, loyalty, and chivalry, which made him a great king. Many lessons that he learned on his journeys helped him to become the person that he is. Arthur’s journey becoming king can be seen in the novel The Sword in the Stone by T.H. White, and is very similar to Joseph Campbell’s Hero’s Journey.
In Book III, Ninsun says, “Lord of heaven, you granted my son beauty and strength and courage” (99). Ninsun relationship with Gilgamesh is positively evolving. Mitchell correctly shows in the text how Gilgamesh has the odd most respect for his mother. In Book III, “Gilgamesh bowed to his mother” which mainly shows an excellent example of a healthy male and female relationship
Joseph’s leadership is built upon his character, commitment, and competence, and these same three qualities are seen in Telemachus. Looking at the first quality of Joseph’s superb leadership, character, one can see that Joseph faced many things that tested his character. One of which, was when he received two dreams, and chooses to tell his brothers. It was here that he shows poor character. He brags about how in his dream, his brothers’ “bundles all gathered around and bowed,” and that even the “the sun, moon, and eleven stars” bowed before him (Genesis 37:7,9).
“to stand forever as a sign of glory and justice of Hrothgar’s Danes.”(47) The power of the Shaper's words is shown a it was the underlying factor in Hrothgar's motivation for the successful society he pictured. Grendel has observed the actions of Hrothgar and his leadership for a long time. He witnessed first hand the successfulness of his strategies. Hrothgar acquires men from all over the land to be his loyal laborers. All the people would gather at the hall and peacefully listen to the Shaper's words.
King Arthur was a very powerful and intelligent king. From childhood, he learned many virtues and lessons, but he didn’t know that the lessons he was learning had to do with becoming a great leader. Ben Carson is very similar to king Arthur in many ways. Ben learned several things from childhood as well as from reading literature of the world around him which made him a great man later on in life. I will be talking about Ben Carson and why he is a great reincarnation of King Arthur.
Judas Maccabeus was a legendary Jewish figure whom God used to free His people from the persecution of the Seleucid Empire. Judas lead the revolt against the Seleucids, called the Maccabean Revolt, from 167 to 160 B.C. He fought incredibly heroic battles, had admirable faith in God, and developed the traditional Jewish holiday, Hanukkah. Even in the face of daunting obstacles, Judas never failed to call upon God and trust in Him with his life. , The Maccabean Revolt all began with Alexander the Great.

Tant. Throughout his entire life, Tant happily committed himself to the Lord and sacrificed earth’s treasures to labor on His behalf. Even 75 years after his death, his contributions to the Lord’s church still remain as a testimony to his dedication to the truth and his love for God’s people. Examining Tant’s life is certain to prove this assertion. The date was June 28th, 1861.
Marcus Mann would be an excellent grand marshall. I am not just saying that because he is my pastor. He is a really good man and deserves to be grand marshall. He is a good role model for kids of all ages I for one look up to him and I am proud of him. He is wonderful on the court but even better when it comes to preaching.
