As stated in the table above, the study will be conducted in 8 months. It starts with preliminary study to examine a case in a particular school and proposing research title as the result of preliminary study. Then, it is followed by writing research proposal. Data collection will be done on February and completed by submitting the document on May. B. Research Design The study will employ a case study method in which this method will provide tools for researchers to study complex phenomena within a context. This type of information can take many forms and should be the object of explicit data collection plans (Yin, 2003, p. 85). Documentation refers to the using of documents of a wide range written, visual, digital, and physical material relevant to the study (Merriam, 2009, p.139). Thus, documentation is a way of collecting data from available documents which are relevant to the research problem. The documents collected are syllabus, lesson plan, and students’ dialogue journal. In assessing students’ dialogue journal, the researcher will use intereter to reduce the subjectivity. Member checking is a process in which the researcher asks one or more participants in the study to check the accuracy of the account (Creswell, 2012, p. 259). At the end of the data collection period, the researcher will ask participants to review and critique field notes for accuracy and meaning. This technique can help clear up miscommunication, identify inaccuracies, and help obtain additional useful data (Ary, 2010, p. 500). The last technique used for validation is external audits. Researchers ask an auditor outside the project to conduct a thorough review of the study, in writing, the strengths and weaknesses of the project.
