Dating Rules For My Future Kids Going to the movies is a good thing to do if someone wants to relax or just if they have some free time. I like going to the movies with my family, but I especially like to go to the movies with my friends. When I go to the movies with my friends, we usually watch a comedy or a horror film. Sometimes my friends bring their dates along to watch the movie with us. I am totally okay with this because movies are the perfect place to have a date. Sometimes our friend group likes to talk during the movie, disrupting people who want to enjoy the movie. So we have to stop talking and follow the rules the movie theatre has. Many things have rules just like my future children will have when they want to start dating. …show more content…
The reason I say this is because they are able to drive which means they have to be more responsible. It also means that I do not have to drive my kid and their date to their destination because that would be very awkward. Being 16 means that they have to be very responsible and their are a lot of responsibilities such as focusing on school work and driving. If their is a 16-year old dating a 19 year old I feel like the 19-year old would push the 16-year old to do stuff they did not want to do. A 16-year old might be mature enough to say no. I would not allow my son or daughter to date someone that is more than 2 years older. It is different if someone is 27 and they are dating a 30 or 31-year old because they are more mature at that age. I will allow my future children to start dating at the age of 16 because they are more mature and they have more
Theaters were originally called Nickelodeons, they were very cheap to get in but were usually run down and small. In the 20’s Nickelodeons evolved in to elaborate theaters that could seat many people because of the popularity of the film industry. Like the radio, movies became very influential in the lives of Americans and were a new fun source of entertainment (“digital
The more likely the individual is genuinely going to sit and give their full attention to the material they are viewing. Groups of friends and couples that love to discuss things throughout the film get so intrigued with the film they are watching. The individuals tend to go off into their private selves and thoughts Groen states. “When we are most truly, alone we are most truly an audience” (Groen, 2002,
“There are also arguments that young people shouldn 't be in a rush to drink--waiting three more years isn 't much of an inconvenience-and of course, the safety factor” (“Lowering Drinking Age Limit to 18”). Many who are against the whole idea of changing the drinking age to eighteen often have the arguments such as the safety of their loved ones and others. A statistic says that 25,000 lives have been saved because of the drinking age being twenty-one and it continues to prevent tragedies while car crashes are being decreased by 16%. (“Lowering Drinking Age Limit to 18”) Many car crashes are due to drunk driving, and having young adults at the age of eighteen allowed to buy and drink alcohol can lead to new drivers making wrong decisions on the road.
Do you know that entertainment is basically very expensive and usually eats a lot of our money? Now if you have to go for entertainment you should make sure that you concentrate on the cheaper options. You can reduce entertainment and still enjoy it. If you usually go severally at the movies you can decide to take one package maybe in a week. The article, "16-Year-Olds Want a Vote. Fifty Years Ago, So Did 18-Year-Olds", talks about the pros and cons of why 16-year-olds should or shouldn't vote. I believe that the voting age in the United States should not be lowered to 16, because they are not mature enough, and their argument is not as strong as the one in the 60's. 16-year-olds should not be allowed to vote because most are not mature. Representative Mark E. Green said, " We don’t allow a 16-year-old to buy a beer, and the decision making is because of their ability to reason at that age,”.
The website says that “Generally, it is not appropriate for parents to bring their young children with them to R-rated motion pictures”. How exactly do they determine what is 'appropriate' for you? If a movie receives an NC-17 rating, movie theaters will not allow anyone under 18 to see it, even with an adult. What makes NC-17 so terrible? The MPAA says that NC-17 rated films contain “element[s] that most parents would consider too strong and therefore off-limits for viewing by their children”.
Driving at 16 allows parents to oversee young drivers before they are legally independent adults. Lawmakers may think by raising the minimum driving age that they can minimize accidents, but in actuality, they are depriving teens the chance to learn under adult supervision. If the driving age were raised to 18, kids would be out on their own and learning to drive on their own. At 16, teens are still covered by their parents ' insurance driving closer to home, which offers more support should they get in an accident. Before teens leave home, parents can be sure they have a solid driving history that they can be comfortable with while gaining valuable experience.
I think the driving age should stay at the age of 16 because as you get older you have more experience driving. Every thing goes best when you start young because of all the practice you've had over the years. starting at 16 can can lead some teens to good cares like: NAS car, or driving for movies. I think the age of 16 is a good place to start, because its like they say know more about the job before the interview, so that way you have a better chance of getting the job. Safety still is a problem because 16 year olds are reckless as well so its a bigger chance that more people could be in danger young teens that are behind the wheel going fast and doing what ever else they do when there alone trying to be cool for who ever.
Many people believe that age doesn’t matter, it’s only the experience that does. Others say age plays a big role due to the fact that the younger the people are, the less mature they act. There are so many reasons to why the driving age should be raised. Thousands of people wonder what could be done to prevent all these tragic fatalities and between all those debates raising the legal age for driving has been the most controversial. Car accidents are reported every day.
In addition, the main reason that many people are against driving at 16 is because 16-17 year olds are the age group with the most accidents. However, what they don't know, is that the reason behind these accidents is inexperience. If the driving age were indeed raised, there would be just as many accidents. This is because 18 year olds would be inexperienced as well. The earlier teens learn to drive, the more time they have to gain
Because of safety concerns, many states have increased the age at which teens can begin to drive. Teens need to have their own experiences. Driving at sixteen is a great way for teens to indulge in experiences and start a more independent life. The driving age should not be raised because driving gives one freedom, driving allows teens to work, and driving teaches responsibility.
After all, it will only add to the total loss of life from the various errors performed by sixteen-year-old kids. It is unseemingly to keep something that has time and time proved itself to be appalling. It is for this reason that eighteen should be the age at which adolescents are given cars. The legal driving age should be raised to eighteen because it will keep the streets safer, drivers will be more mature, and it is foolish to oppose this indubitable truth.
Most 16 year old kids dont know much about or learn much about the presidental election to be able to vote. I feel the voting age 18 is a little risky itself and going lower is just unprofessional. Judges are comparing our country to diffrent countries like our rules and presidents are the same. My arguement is to keep the voting age at 18 years old.
In conclusion, the voting age should not be lower to sixteen years of age. They are not mature enough, political savvy enough, nor old enough. Teens that are sixteen are not wise enough to be able to vote. They want to rush into adulthood, instead of enjoying the present.
The summer before senior year I worked at the local movie theater and it was a great experience. One of the greatest perks of the job was that I got two free tickets everyday and fifty percent off of food. Prices of movies have really skyrocketed recently and families would come in and spend close to one hundred dollars at the movie theater. This is a problem for the movie theater, as people are not too keen on spending a lot of money on a movie they don’t like. This is why movie reviews are helpful, because they can give you some indication if you are going to like the movie or not.
