David Suzuki was born on March twenty-fourth, 1936 and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia. In David’s early life, he lived with his twin sister Marcia, Geraldine and Dawn. Born to Setsu Nakamura and Kaoru Carr Suzuki were David and all three of his siblings. David Takayoshi Suzuki is a science broadcaster as well as a phenomenal environmental activist. He worked his way from when he was born until 1961 to earning a pH. D. in zoology. He earned his pH.D. in zoology at the University of Chicago. At the University of British Columbia David was also a professor in the genetics department from the year of 1963 until he had to retire which was in the year of 2001. Plants and soils store carbon, keeping it from the atmosphere, where it would contribute to climate change.” In order to solve the issues with wildlife and habitats, we need to protect and preserve the environment around of us, and think about the other things living on this earth. By doing this, we all can work together to make sure our planet maintains and restores the natural balance that all living things need to survive. David Suzuki has had many accomplishments, for example, he was awarded the rank of Companion in the Order of Canada in 2006. He was also given a Right livelihood Award in 2009, as well as being presented with the George Woodcock lifetime Achievement Award in 2011. David has also won many more awards, but the one that stuck out to me the most was that he was voted the fifth greatest Canadian in 2004! I do agree with David suzuki’s beliefs and actions that he has made in this world. He makes a good point about not only having to share the world with animals, but also having to clean up after ourselves. We pollute this earth so much, and we’ve done very little to save it. I agree with David that we do need a government and a strong leader. Without a leader in our lives, we’d be lost and crime would be through the roof. David has not only made a huge impact on this planet, but he is also trying to spread the word about our wrongs and rights. He can only get so many people to listen to him, therefore it's now our job to spread the word and make a
