Suzuki made his own TV shows so he could teach everyone about science and how people could protect the environment. Suzuki also created the David Suzuki Foundation where he has a lot of projects to help the environment. Finally he has won a lot of awards for his work like the Order of Canada award, Royal Bank award, University of British Columbia award, and five Gemini awards. But he has also had some problems and obstacles in his life. One of the biggest problems or obstacles was when he was a child he and his family were held captive in World War 2, but thankfully he and his family

He cared a lot about the environment that is why he devoted his life to protecting the environment. He was also very respectful to people and if he wasn't he wouldn't have made this much progress. I think those were the personality traits that led him to be so successful. I can apply these lessons to my life by being respectful and caring like he did. If he became so successful by having traits like that I can also be successful by have traits like he did! I think the things that make Suzuki someone to look up to is how he became so successful in his career from hard work. He worked so hard to get where he was, he didn't get any jumpstart he actually worked hard to get where he got. He was compassionate with his work he never cared about money, he cared about the environment and how he can have a contribution in it. That's why I think David Suzuki is someone to look up to!
