There is a little town in Oregon called Dead Wood. We will start our story in a decent looking bar. In this bar there is a sheriff by the name of Wild Bill. He is what the town calls the fastest gun in the west. He has been in many gun fights. Even when he was out numbered he still won. Well besides the good about the sheriff, Wild Bill slept with alot of women and had glaucoma. Sohe was loosing his eye site little by little. Our man will be focused on is Fred. He works in California as a banker. He has no eperience with anything outside of Cali but there was nothing he can do about it. Cause you see Freds boss "John" had Fred take 5 million dollars worth of gold to dead would for a trade. While John was giving him instructions, Johns secretary Jose, heard about this goldshipment and wanted the gold. So Jose made a posse to take down this shipment. While Fred was traveling, he got sick and was exrtremely exhausted. He had never been a field person. well just 50 miles from Dead Wood, Jose and his squad all waited in the canyons. When Fred reeached the canyons, All the sudden "Bang!" A gun shot flew from there left side and one of Freds guards got shot. One of the gaurds said "ambush!" After that gaurd said that, he also got shot. There were four more gaurds left and One of them Told Fred to take off north cause Dead Wood was 50 miles from where they were. So they all took of and when Fred looked backafter getting out of the canyon andd no one else made it out besides him. …show more content…

Billy Barker was a sailor from Cambridge shire, England who struck gold in 1862.
