In the real world everyone makes mistakes that cannot be fixed. In William Shakespeare 's Romeo and Juliet both the Capulets and the Montagues make several mistakes, but there is one person most responsible. Juliet 's father, Lord Capulet, is most to blame for the events that occurred and for his daughter 's death. Romeo would have never met Juliet if Lord Capulet had kicked him out of the party. In scene 5 of act 1 Tybalt recognized Romeo and instead of dueling him, Lord Capulet said to leave Romeo alone.

It may be difficult to truly determine who is to blame for the tragedy because their lives were influenced and affected by many figures. But the question is, who is most to blame for the death of the two lovers?

The concept of blame is extremely prevalent within the play, “Romeo and Juliet,” written by William Shakespeare. More precisely, whose fault it is for the death of the two star crossed lovers for which whom are the protagonists. There are many different opinions on the topic of whose fault it is for the death of Romeo and Juliet, but it is very widely thought to be Friar Lawrence’s fault, along with Romeo and Juliet, for the unanticipated death of the two star crossed lovers. Friar Lawrence is the member of the church who married Romeo and Juliet in act II scene III of the play.

Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy about two young star-crossed lovers who come from opposing families that are constantly feuding. Romeo is a Montague whilst Juliet is a Capulet. Although the most obvious theme in the play is love, there are several scenes which contain conflict. This essay considers some of the ways that conflict is presented in Act III scene 1.

Innocent area such as Romeo and Juliet's there are many different people that can be blamed for the tragedy, in this case the main person to blame is Lord Capulet. You may not agree now but by the end of the reading of this you will see my reason and hopefully great. Often times people will dismiss Capulet's actions without given a second thought plainly because there's not enough evidence and/or reasoning to back up this claim. Or Capulet is one of the most close minded and stubborn characters within the story. To begin, or Capulet had little to no respect for women.

Which kinds of love are most fulfilling? A smart man once said that “ Real love you feel it, you see it, you show it! Fake love is just words...”(~unknown) thus stating that real love is stating the truth while fake love is full of lies. This quote can be connected to The Great Gatsby due to it being full of counterfeit emotions, and can be attached to Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare by the excess amount of true love. The two are different due to one being a comedy while the other is full of tragedy, but both of the stories centers around love making it the main theme in both of these tales.

Apparently, this is because the language is hard to understand and susceptible to misinterpretation. The most common quote "wherefore art thou Romeo" is commonly misunderstood as "where are you Romeo" and misinterpreted as Juliet simply missing Romeo. However, the actual meaning "why are you Romeo" is much deeper in that it questions the existence of Romeo and the essence of the feud that is hindering their relationship. One of the most popular quote by Juliet "[a] rose by any other name would smell as sweet" is such an aesthetic work of language to illustrate that Juliet is in love with Romeo despite him being named as Romeo Montague. I certainly agree that Romeo and Juliet is a beautiful work of art and is worth studying.

Should Romeo and Juliet be held responsible for their impulsive behavior? Romeo and Juliet were young and in love and got married within less than a day of knowing each other and then ended up committing suicide. I think that Romeo and Juliet should take some of the blame; still I also think that there are other reasons. I believe that Friar Lawrence should take some of the blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet.

Romeo and Juliet is a tragedy about a pair of star crossed lovers who go through many painful obstacles only to kill themselves at the end because of their love for one another. However, in the end, who is to blame for the death of these young children? The one who is liable for the pain and suffering that has been caused is Friar Lawrence. Friar Lawrence bears the most guilt for the fate of the characters in Romeo and Juliet.

Romeo and Juliet died tragically and unnecessarily. Many characters in the book bear responsibility for their deaths in part, including the Friar and even Romeo and Juliet themselves. However; their parents and in particular, Juliet's parents, bear the brunt of the blame for keeping the feud alive. The parents were a product of their upbringing and environment, and the times in which they lived.

In Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare, the love between Romeo and Juliet is the main feature of the play. While the love acts as the comic potential between the two characters, it is also the force that steers the star crossed lovers towards the tragic ending. One key factor that plays a role in the use love to steer the play towards tragedy is the theme of religion. Because religion plays an important role in the play by sacrilegiously using, sin as a metaphor for their first kiss, having Romeo abandon Rosaline, and Juliet for leave her fiance for Romeo, Romeo and Juliet's relationship is doomed to end in tragedy. One of the key representations of religion in Romeo and Juliet, is the character of Friar Lawrence.
