In the USA today article, the people did not act appropriately. They were uneducated on the most important document in America. American citizens not knowing the Declaration of Independence is an embarrassment. Throwing out on social media things you are uneducated about isn't something others should take lightly and should apologize for what their response was and take the tweets down. Many people saw it so having shared and posted just shows people how ridiculous this is getting. There is others struggling to do everything they can to get into america and change their life for the better while, actual citizens barely know what the declaration means. It is amiss to lash out on an online page over something they don't understand for themselves.
