The ideals of the Declaration of Independence embody equality, inalienable rights, consent of the governed, and the right to alter or abolish government; and should be protected because the absence of these ideals lead to economic collapse and tyranny. Therefore, if these ideals are protected then the course of human events throughout history have shown that a path to Liberty will follow.
Equality is defined as the state of being equal in status, rights, and opportunities. As in the case of immigrant people from a communist country, they appreciate the equal opportunity to succeed. Personal Declaration of Independence It seems that the time of cutting specific things out of my life has come around, certain reasons have gave me reason to believe that it is a need not a want, and this is not a plea but a declaration. I want to cut off all friends that destroy dreams by smoking, drinking, and making bad choices in general. There is no benefit or good reason to keep them around if they’re just going to hold me back. In that case I’d also like to declare that I will be leaving my neighborhood.

The only strategic options they had would not stand a chance up against the British. The colonists were very upset with America about the way they were making laws up until the war began.
How the Declaration of Independence is holding up today. The United States is upholding the principles of the Declaration of Independence not so well. Protests have been rising quickly do to equal rights. This includes people kneeling in the NFL.
Throughout the history of our nation, we as americans have never been together as a team and just accepted our different beliefs. During the 241 years as a nation there has always been an argument, a controversy, a different belief, etc. This issue has always find a way to separate our nation and keep us apart, the Declaration of Independence was created to help with these issues. On the day of July 4, 1776, the signing of the Declaration of Independence was ratified to the British by the 56 delegates to the Continental Congress. The signing was issued because King George the third was “abusing” the American Colonists by taking away the colonist’s charters, abolishing laws, and altering the fundamentals of our government. For example, on December 16, 1773, The British government raised the tax on tea in America so they could initially pay for their war debts. That was including well over a few taxes because of their debt from the french and indian war.. Another example is in 1765 the Parliament passed the Quartering Act that said the colonists had to pay for the british soldiers to stay in the colonies.
If I was tasked with writing the Declaration of Independence I would have a multitude of things on my mind. First, I would probably be worried about how I would successfully design something that would truly provide everyone with both equal rights and protection. To find a way to allow people to live without governmental intrusion and control. I would also be concerned on what the British would do when they read it. The Declaration was something that nobody had dared to do before and went against everything that was in rule.
The Declaration of Independence is the greatest form of literature this country has ever produced. In 1776, the British colonies in America had existed for over 150 years, more than enough time for the ambitious to find their place and earn their income. In the southern colonies top income earners were large planters, like George Washington. In the northern colonies merchant work which was done by people such as John Hancock and Robert Morris, more then matched the income earnings of southern planters. Lawyers like John Adams were the next biggest income earners, which was followed by tavern workers.
The United States sometimes upholds the principles of the Declaration of Independence. The one I notice the most they don’t uphold is “All people are created equal.” I always hear about protests going on because people are being treated unfairly. There is always something going on about it. I believe all people are created equally and I think other people need to understand that too.
I used to believe that the Declaration of Independence wasn’t real. No joke! I used to think it was just a document a bunch of shabby old men signed to attend mandatory breakfast meetings about the government or something. I couldn’t care more about my feelings against it. I get it, we got our independence but what does that have anything to do with a 17 year old white female from the northern suburbs of Chicago?
The Declaration of Independence is a legal document written by one of our founding fathers to ensure the well being of the United State’s people. The legal document makes a statement on human equality and human rights. This statement can be seen in the second paragraph, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.” In other words, every United States citizen is to be treated as equal. There is no discrimination in any aspect to brought upon anyone in order to live amongst life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
The world may have begun with a bang, but America began with a whimper. If was a small cry of injustice uttered from the mouths of the men we now know as our founding fathers. No taxation without representation they shouted from the streets, revolution was just around the corner. Back then we were simply a small group of states still under the tyrannical rule of King George. Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, John Hancock, Alexander Hamilton, George Washington and many more are the names that now cover our city and fill our textbooks.
In the USA today article, the people did not act appropriately. They were uneducated on the most important document in America. American citizens not knowing the Declaration of Independence is an embarrassment. Throwing out on social media things you are uneducated about isn't something others should take lightly and should apologize for what their response was and take the tweets down. Many people saw it so having shared and posted just shows people how ridiculous this is getting.
Each ideal is important the citizens of the United States but some are more important then others. Equality is a large focus in the Decleration of Independence because it shows that the American people believe that everyone deserves the same treatment, protection and opportunities no matter a person’s gender, race, or religion.
