Hop Hip, while men do not go as far as to risk to lives for their country, they will do absolutely any and everything to protect their families, their brand and their money, all the things that they love most in this world. Rappers, gangster rappers mostly, make songs retelling and detailing their lives before fame. In these songs they recount time where they have risked their lives and freedom hustling to provide for their families. The rapper that rap about their struggle and their hustle have robbed, stole and killed to give their families the necessaties and desires. Many have been shot and left for dead in the process.
Instead, if they love each other they could find a way to stop this tension. Acts of violence and hate are never the answer to any problem, yet people seek it just to have fun, show pride, or be gallant. In The Outsiders there was a rumble between the Socs and Greasers to show who’s boss, but after this epic fight nothing changed. All of the Greasers were hurt really bad, the only thing they got for this loss was the Socs being chased out
There were communication mistakes and other mistakes made during Hurricane Katrina. First of all, detailed and direct information was sent to people for evacuation too close to the time when Katrina was about to hit, not allowing people to prepare for the disaster. If things could be done differently, there should be communication and coordination centers housed in areas where information can be sent directly to the authorities. The lack of ability to communicate with each other and coordinate a response was another mistake. Federal officials struggle to perform responsibilities that are usually conducted by State or local authorities, such as to rescue citizens stranded by the floodwater and evacuate the remaining population of New Orleans
As the audience is introduced to the background and characteristics of AbdulRahman and Kathy, Eggers uses symbolism to describe the plot setting and surrounding during each scene. For example, Eggers’ describes the flooded streets of New Orleans as “contaminated water.” In many circumstances throughout the text, Zeitoun is seen helping local residents in his Canoe, as the Military helicopters and boats had not come for rescue. In the article by International Risk Governance Council "The Response to Hurricane Katrina" author Donald P. Moynihan mentions “The consequences of a major hurricane had been long-anticipated for New Orleans in particular, due to the dangers of a levee collapse for a coastal city built mostly below sea level. But the concerns about such a disaster were not met with an appropriate level of preparation.” (Moynihan Pg 1). In many ways, Eggers emphasizes the lack of relief efforts throughout the text by presenting the destruction of the city with looting, flooded streets and helpless
Perfect opportunities for humor are unexpected comparisons or one liners. Rap about your own world. Use anything you wish, such as individuals, encounters, events and clothes. Rapping about your immediate surrounding shows that you are making up original verses instead of pre-recorded raps. Refer to current activities to make original allusions and play with words.
8. I’m not sure what inspired me in the beginning. I think I always loved rapping and I always had the feeling that I could write cool melodies. I just rapped as a hobby because I wanted to and that’s the best reason to do something. A lot of kids inbox me and say ‘I’m a rapper how do I become big?’ I think that’s dumb as fuck because the job of making music is too hard to do if you’re just faking it.
Overall where the album truly stands out is in Kanye West 's production work, and his ability to bring many different elements together is new and refreshing from the stage of gangsta that hip hop was in before. While it may not be his best album ever especially with his later albums such as “808s and Heartbreak” (2008), “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy” (2010), and “Yeezus” (2013). It by far paved the way for more hip hop artists to expand their horizons into less traditional genres and experiment with new
Seeing what these people went through and how most of them rebuilt their homes and came back to New Orleans showed me that there is always a light at the end of the tunnel. Hurricane Katrina was bad but it could have been worst and most of the citizen of New Orleans had faith the whole time that the city would come back stronger than before. The experience also taught me to never question God’s plan because I will never be able to understand what he has planned. I will never understand why he chose to tear such a great city apart or why he would allow so much history to be
Right now, there was a remix I made from a song I heard on the radio a long time ago. It was a classic, one that wouldn’t be easily forgotten, at least with me anyway. When that track was done, I swiftly switched records, this time for a heavier, deeper, and intenser bass tune to it. Cranking up the volume, all I could hear were the thumps of wubs, pumping through my body and the nightclub, something that made me feel happy and in the right place—albeit my ears didn’t agree with me. The thing about being a DJ, I’ve learned over the years, was that you had to be careful with how you treat your ears.
Rap artists use their music to express their perspectives, opinions and feelings in their songs. From their lyrics, you will have the visualization of what they are trying to deliver, and how do they feel and see towards the society. The artists should be happy because they can compose any types of music to express themselves. However do these rappers truly need to use disrespectful and profane words? Do they need to publicize swearing words to youths?
While others think he should sign the civil rights act of 1964 it was not politics wanting to get signed again.LBJ did it because everyone wanted him to. What is LBJ 's belifies that made him sign the civil rights act. To begin all the people of 1964 there wasn 't many people supporting the movement. There was so many deaths it was just madness to see the white people didn 't think it was right for the blacks to get
Even though his songs were very controversial, they were also very inspiring. Had his drive and determination not been stronger than the restraints of the media, music wouldn’t have morphed into what it is today. His sound echoes in the background of Pharrell Williams and Justin Timberlake’s songs, of Madonna’s lyrics, and of every hip hop beat there is. His willpower, independence, and stubbornness also set him apart. When Prince didn’t get what he wanted, he made sure he did later on.
