Bullying has a special definition to me in my heart. Bullying to me is when someone knows that something hurts you physically or socially, but shows no remorse about it and are happy to make life miserable for you. Chris Walton who bullied me so bad that I cut my hair when I was in 3rd grade and thought that he would be able to get what he wanted because he had a dad that was a police officer, he was stronger than me, and I was an easy target. Bullying me just because I have long hair? That is a perfect example of a true bully at heart.
It was a month into 3rd grade at Chamiza Elementary when Chris Walton started to cut me down verbally repeatedly saying anything that could to hurt me. I recall a day that Chris had insulted me saying “why don’t

Thanks to Chris Walton I acted out of desperation and used my dad, Martin’s, old barber’s scissors to cut my hair which I did just so that I could try to fit in and not get bullied. After that, my dad having enough of this, goes to the school and talks to Chris. My dad started asking Chris “what has my son done to you Chris, your dad is a police officer and you are here physically assaulting my son Dylan?” Of course Chris tried to defend himself but there was no defending what he did. The next day, the principal Deborah Henwood made the awful mistake of sitting Chris and I in a room together and without adult supervision. Again as expected, Chris was trying to emotionally cut me in half but I wasn’t up for it. Finally, about a week later, Chris apologized and had realized what he did was emotionally and physically hurtful to me. Kids will always say and do what their parents say and do to them and this is why now, I don’t act impulsively. I also learned not take the phrase “turn the other cheek” that is told so often so literally. Well, I guess in my case it wouldn’t turn the other lip. I just know that there will always be that person who just wants life to be as miserable as
On September 3, 2013, a sophomore named Bart Palosz committed suicide in Greenwich, Connecticut. Nina Golgowski discussed this in her article, “Connecticut Teen Who Committed Suicide.” Palosz’s story is very similar to Tyler Long’s, a boy who committed suicide in 2007. Tyler Long’s story was told by director Lee Hirsch in the movie Bully. Palosz and Long were treated horribly both verbally and physically by classmates, and nothing was done by their schools to help them.

Not only can staff members assist the students at Madera High School, but students can also help eachother out in terms of charisma. For example, students can help eachother out by standing up for students when seen being bullied. Then maybe the students being bullied may have the ability to stand up for themselves knowing they have someone that have their back’s. In fact, when the question, “What would you do if someone came to you for help due to harassment or bullying? Please explain” majority of the students said they would give advice, be there for them, and talk to an adult or parent for help.
Bullying is the use of superior strength to intimidate others. Bullying is typically done when someone wants another person to do what they want them to do. This is seen very obviously from the queen bee. The queen bee is the most powerful girl in school. She can manipulate anyone, and so she does.
Stop the Bullying People is not always willing to stand up for what they believe is right. One of the reasons why people is not willing to stand up is because they fear getting involved in legal problems. Others do not want to lose time discussing over this situations. Many of them do not know that there are consequences for what they chose to ignore. What I think about this is different.
The summer of my freshman year I had gotten into my first high school fight. This kid that was on the football team did not like me and he wanted to fight me but I did not like to fight. I was called many names for not fighting him during the school year. I saw him in the summer and he yelled my name and called me a “wetback” .
