Can everyday people who aren’t famous be heroes? heroes can be anyone everyone has had the option to be a hero or not. They may not be the bravest the strongest or wear capes but heroes are everywhere. sometimes they don’t even realize that they are heroes. Heroes are sometimes everyday people that help others like helping their sibling on their homework that’s heroic.While a hero can not help everybody, heroes can be selfless, brave, and determined to overcome challenges.
Abraham Lincoln was determined to abolish slavery he died for fighting to do so. Abraham Lincoln was given the severest punishment for freeing the slaves so john wilkes booth shot him. Heroes do not let their fears stop them from helping others. frederick douglass was a slave and he wrote anti slavery poems and other things which he could be severely punished for. narrative life of frederick douglass “I could not hope to get off with anything less than the severest punishment”(pg 82 Douglass). This shows that they would get horrible punishment if they tried to abolish slavery.
