It is slightly unnerving to be told that ‘reality’ is different to everyone. No two people define reality in the exact same manner because reality is largely based off of the person’s surroundings, social status, and economic status. While it is somewhat strange to realize that my definition of reality varies from every person I encounter on a daily basis, it is not hard to accept this observation. Similarly to common sense, everyday reality is largely personal and no two people are alike in more than the general terms.
Present day reality is described as par excellence and it is the most prominent sense of reality a person possesses (Berger & Luckmann, 1966). The characteristics that make up everyday life are established before the person is even added to the situation. In some cases, reality is

While there are areas around you that cannot be manipulated, you are either interacting with these zones indirectly or they are so far from you that they do not hold a great deal of importance (Berger & Luckmann, 1966, p. 36). The parts of reality that will directly impact your life are the things that hold the most importance, however, there are several interests that may not impact your life at all and are simply for personal enjoyment. Many people hold interests in subjects such as personal fitness, technology, or cuisine; these subjects may not be intricately involved in their everyday reality but they are considered the simple pleasures in life. There are some forms of reality that are not shared with others, such as dreams and these would be considered a private reality.
One’s outlook on life can be dictated by their importance of
Unfortunately, the reality
Reality and Truth What is reality? Different people might have different answers to this question. Everyone has his own way to see things happen in a particular situation. Alexie’s text entitled “Because My Father Always Said That He Was the Only Indian Who Saw Jimi
In the worldly age are living people are filled with many margins; as he says Ian, who is impossible to read a book without margins, and the marginal behavior can be the most important kind. Each activity full of purpose that exists in the reality outside forest is like wasting time. The meaning of margin is where you can try out different ideas that might present a fear at the thought that he could not have the approval of others. Unfortunately, today there are more people that truncated its purposes by not having the approval of the public in general. By the above this option discard purposes by the approval of the world that surround us, we were a great banality-entering and would be in some way the daunting is a scenario of all.
In Susan Wolf’s article “The Meaning of Lives” she argues a meaningful life is engaged in positive projects to some degree of success. She also believes that the pursuits with meaning have an objective value that connects with the rest humanity. Susan Wolf’s did not write about her thoughts on the concept of plugging oneself into an experience machine like described by Christopher Grau in “Bad Dreams, Evil Demons, and the Experience Machine”, but her argument for what gives meaning to a life makes it clear that she would argue someone should choose to not plug in. The reason a person would choose to plug into an experience machine is because they could live out all of their fantasies and avoid all the discomfort experienced in real life. But
Real World In the speech "This Is Water" by David Wallace, he talks about the so called real world. He focuses on putting meaningful thoughts in the graduate's heads to replace the meaningless ones. Also, David tries describing that the everyday life we may live in thier imagination is not entierly accurate. He explains that some of the most actualities in life are the most complicated to observe and very complex to recognize.
The foundation and development of a human being stems from the individual’s position within his/her life (for instance, his/her opinion, stance, about oneself in regards to his/her own expectations) and within his/her communities as a member of a household, a race or even as a gender. The key factor of this notion, take in consideration the vast knowledge a person can evaluate against their own understanding. A person emerge into the world as a blank slate that unconsciously and continuously devouring and weaving in stories told in voices that evokes correlation identification with an image created by a mother, father, brothers, sister, aunt, uncle, cousins, grandma, grandpa, and even nicknamed strangers into their root and skin. Prompt: “We can’t escape the world others create”. Individual perceives reality unsimilarly due to the influence of external factors such as, religion, socialization and experiences that decides how things should be constructed. Also reality can be defined by values and assumptions that bring to the way how people see a particular thing. Often people with authority or other forms of power are in position to deceive others such as the media and government are in a position to deceive people without their realizing it.
There is an extensive literature on the problem of relative gains and the differences between neoliberal institutionalism and structural realist theory. The neoliberal theory assumes that states only care about their absolute payoff and disregards the gains of other. It stresses the prospects for cooperation and whether it results in a relative gain or loss is ignored as long as it brings an absolute gain. On the contrary, neorealist theory assumes that the states care about relative achievements and instead highlights the prospect for conflict (Powell, 1991). The rationale for the realist theory is that the states care about the relative payoffs when they are jointly produced, since an asymmetrically advantaging state can have implications in negotiation and bargaining power among states and lead to further asymmetries.
The characteristics of environment might change. People should follow up with their mental map. Furthermore, doing so help people avoid being habituated with their mental map and ignore beautiful and interesting things around them. After following Xavier de Maistre’s bedroom journey, de Botton writes that people can make the effort to look at things at the familiar world as something new and interesting. “We meet people who have crossed deserts, floated on icecaps and cut their way through jungles----and yet in whose souls we would search in vain for evidence of what they have witnessed.
What is truth? Truth is what is as per reality and the truth is what is as per reality. In the event that reality does not coordinate to truth or the other way around, it is generally viewed as awful news which implies that the truth is false and the fact of the matter is a lie (terrible news). A few reasons, beginning with the fact of the matter is regularly difficult to acknowledge.
Circumstances are critical because they call into consideration the past, which influences it, and the future, on which it will affect. Society cannot be understood
The crisp "drip, drip, drip" of runaway rain drops on the corner of a building, and the crisp clean air of a thunderstorm filling your lungs gently. Perhaps the wavy sight of hot air rising in the distance, sweat sticking to your skin and the feeling of your tensions being seeped out by the sun. These are ways in which the world presents itself to you, because You are loved. Massively. Ferociously.
One of the main themes that I caught during this week of studies was that language does create reality. Language also creates gender, which poses a problem for some people. Language also does seclude people as well, for example, when someone says “Ladies and Gentleman” before an act, they are secluding people who do not prefer to label themselves as a lady or gentleman. Language is a very powerful tool if it is used correctly, and from what I have gained from this week is that we still have some obstacles to tackle before language is fully inclusive for everyone. From this week there was a major thing that I did not agree with, and it was how the class was labeling people as “cisgender” from just looking at a picture.
