Throughout history there have been many world leaders. Theses leaders are people who have excelled in various fields. Usually a successful leader is a person who has been on a journey of some kind. A journey is defined as traveling from one place to another. Most successful leaders throughout history have traveled through difficult or trying situations. The journey of a leader can change history, and impact the world in a negative or positive way. Demi Lovato is a person who has made a difference in the world of music. Demi Lovato was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico on August twentieth in 1992. At a young age Lovato started acting in things like Barney and Friends and As the Bell Rings. People have also found out that Demi has struggled with bipolar disorder and addiction. When she disappeared from Sonny with a Chance, she went to one of the best facilities and got the help she needed. When at DNC, earlier this year, before she performed she talked to the audience a little about her mental illness. Demi told the audience, “Like millions of Americans, I am living with a mental illness… Unfortunately, too many Americans from all walks of life don’t get help, either because they fear the stigma or cannot afford treatment” (Demi Lovato Spoke at the DNC About Her Struggle With Mental Illness). In 2011, after months of treatment, Demi released her album Unbroken, which had her song Skyscraper, which made it to the top 10 list. In 2012 Lovato joined the X-Factor as a judge. In 2013, she returned to acting when she starred on the show Glee as Dani. While Demi Lovato has done things outside of singing, she has continued to release albums and top hits, including Neon Lights, Give Your Heart A Break, Cool For The Summer, and Confident. She has also recently went on tour with Nick Jonas In conclusion, Demi Lovato is a world leader, because she started her career at a young age.
