The vinett, Hairs, reveals a lot about Esperanza and her family. It reveals that Esperanza is rebellious and disobedient,“It [Esperanza’s hair] never obeys barrettes or bands”. Papa’s hair is “like a broom”, which reveals that he is not useful for much, except basic household chores. Carlos’s hair shows that he is naturally talented at things, because he doesn 't need to comb it. Nenny slips away from you and can never be caught, just like her hair. Kiki has hair like fur, which suggests a childish feature, because fur is associated with cute animals. Finaly, Esperanza’s mother’s hair, which “smells like bread”, could represent hope and freedom from being a lower income family. I think this because, it is described as being like rosettes,
You stand there taking deep breaths and trying to remember every move you’re about to make. You watch your competition and fix their mistakes in your head, you smile and tell them they did wonderful. You stand there taking deep breaths, and go over the same words you’ve said a hundred times. You wait for your name which will come soon and when it does you take one last deep breath, smile, and take that step on to the stage never moving your eyes from the judges.
Growing up my mom always permed my hair and the perm caused my hair to break. My hair was damaged all of my teenage years. As I became an adult, I decided to stop using chemicals in my hair. When I had children I decided to do that for their hair as well. Also I didn 't like how other people did my hair so I started managing it myself. Doing my own hair helped me to become skilled in doing other people 's hair and giving them advice.

I have a story that I would love to share with you all, I doubted myself although I had practiced, during the table service competition in the service portion I mistakenly poured water into the candle holder, when I told my instructor he asked "what in the world made you think that the candle holder was a glass?!" My response was, " I thought it was a fancy glass!" But that did make me hide my face, I pushed through the rest of the competition, with shaking hands, and a confidence level that hit rock bottom. Later I brushed it off and I said to myself, mistakes have to be made to achieve greatness.
For some people it's just fun. But for me It's a lifestyle. People ask what is it? It's the sport rodeo. For those who don't known what rodeo is, rodeo is an exhibition or contest in which cowboys show their skill at riding broncs, roping calves and other activities. Rodeo arose out from the working practices of cattle herding in Spain, Mexico and later in Central America. People think rodeo is just fun with no work involved. Some even say you're not an athlete, that you can't make a living doing it for the rest of your life. For those who believe that rodeo is not a sport, let's examine these facts.

The violin is an important historical instrument even used by the kings of France and prince of Hungary. This instrument evolved from Asia with the instrument fithele. We get the word fiddle from the word fithele. Although the fithele evolved from Asia, it was mostly used by Europeans in the ninth century. Over the centuries the violin’s original design has undergone many changes, including how long the neck is. The neck of the violin was at first very short but Antonio Stradivari made it longer so that it was deeper and not as squeaky. Another thing that evolved were the strings. At first the strings were made of catgut, animal gut, but later evolved into what we use today which are steel core strings. The violin is first in the violin family going in order from violin to viola to violoncello to bass. More recently though in the 1920s the electric violins were created. These violins don’t need to be shaped like a typical violin or even made of wood. Throughout the centuries, the violin has undergone many changes by violin producers, instrumentalists, and even composers.

Tomorrow we begin the month of October. October gives us a full month of colorful autumn and ends with the spooky day of Halloween. There are people who enjoy this holiday especially children and those who think it a pagan event. Personally I have always enjoyed Halloween just for the fun of it with nothing other than that. A kind of autumn celebration with carved pumpkins, colorful leaves and the ghosts and ghoulies just for fun. That is how I look at Halloween. Unfortunately here in Latvia they are not into this holiday and only children at school dress up but afterwards don’t go trick or treating and young adults enjoy going a bit crazy in the pubs in Riga.

This is not just because many of us believe that appearances are vital, but also because our hair represents our personality, thoughts, beliefs, self-esteem, actions and motives. Look around, and try to find an everyday object that is not made out of plastic. You should find only a few. Plastic takes up more than 75% of our everyday items… And humans are facing the pollution that plastic is causing to the earth. There isn 't a realistic solution to this, because plastic is used in automobile tires, and also is used in electronic devices, silicon etc. The reason plastic is used in many products is because it can withstand up to tons of pressure per cm3, is cheap, is durable, and finally, there is no worry for discoloring. But these days, plastic is becoming a major problem the world has to deal with. Plastic is thrown into the ocean, and it is breaking down into very small pieces, and killing marine life, as they mistake those pieces to their prey. As a matter of fact, nearly all plastics are recyclable, but it 's the recycling companies ' machines that refuse to recycle that kind of plastic(eartheasy.com).
