In addition, creative writing has long been a form of refined entertainment and fun, for both writers and readers. It is also one of the most effective means of education. Conversely, digital technology has caused a revolutionary transformation in all aspects of our lives, whether it is in communication, education or creative writing. This research, therefore, aims to find out what effect this technology has on creative writing and specifically on creativity, writers, the youth and book piracy, as I feel that those are the most significant. Although human sacrifice was the topic that people most talked and debated about, there were actually several different types of sacrifices. Animals were sacrificed as well, along with bloodletting, where people would offer blood by cutting themselves. The gods were believed to be nourished after the feeding of human blood. There was also the act of burning meat or pouring blood over the statues of the gods so that the deities would consume the givings directly. The basic human sacrifice was held on top of pyramids, where the victim was stretched over a stone and had his or her heart ripped out using tools like flint knives.
Since at the beginning, Poe has also stated that: “Blood was its avatar and its seal – the redness and the horror of blood. (…) The scarlet stains upon the body and especially upon the face of the victim, were the pest ban which shut him out from the aid and from the sympathy of his fellow-men.” The Red Death takes the form of a victim who could have already come into the castle along with the disease and colored signature mark to signify the resemblance of death and disease itself. So far Poe has used symbolism in "Masque of The Red Death" and showing readers how death comes at the end of every life cycle. Symbolism takes place in many forms like how the red death is the disease in the story, along with the bizarre masquerade, the clock of time, and the color of life. Not only does he describe these things in his story, but also foretells how even the wealthiest richest man such as Prince Prospero, cannot escape or outwit
There is no exact definition to being happy. Many writers such as Mark Twain, Ernest Hemingway, and Ralph Waldo Emerson have sought out ways on how to lead a happier lifestyle. Russell implements these beliefs and defines happiness in a whole different way.The Happy Life, written by Bertrand Russell, is a rhetorical essay about his meaning of “happiness.” He persuades his audience through the use of pathos and ethos. I agree with his interpretation of how to live the happy life because one cannot help another at the expense of their own happiness. As Dalai Lama once said, “Happiness is not something really made.
Killing Animals In the present, the world has changed in many sides. One of changing is numbers of killing animals are increasing continuous. Many people think what are reasons for this acting? These acting are a bad behavior and cruelty. The important thing is human who killed those animals.
“Poo-tee-weet,” ( ). This is the final quote at the end of the book, after the war and all the deaths came into an end. “Poo-tee-weet,” isn’t just what bird say, but this symbolises the stupidity of war and mass killing. The bird symbolises what the reaction of people is after a war. One would find himself speechless, because all that is left ,is the blood of innocent humans being shed for power and greed.
For example, Francis doesn’t do anything to stop him, “how long did I stayed there listening ?”(Cormier 95). He could have easily done something to prevent that. In addition, he just stayed there and listened. He didn’t react fast enough in the situation which a hero would react and would’ve done something to stop him. He doesn’t defend his girl which does not make him a hero.
There were still people who thought that there was no God and it was stupid to think that there was a God. Most of the people’s opinions were about to change. There was living proof on it’s way that there was a God that was real that would come to rescue all the people that feared him. It was a warm and sunny day, yet things were not very peaceful. The air seemed
This is showing how even as he is dying he is still thinking about his people. Some would argue Beowulf isn’t smart and that his pride is in the way of him being a beneficial hero. Meaning it wasn’t smart of him to travel over the seas to fight a monster that he knows nothing about. Also, he thought he was the best of the best and that nobody can beat him. Although some people think that, other understand Beowulf was only thinking about what’s best for the people.
